I enjoyed the updated, retro feel with modern amenities. The boot dryer room was a winner for sure

Great place to stay.
Pros:

Staff, location. Coffee in the morning. Rooms up made everyday. Bathrooms are modern. Chilled out vibe. Nice hot tub with the rover flowing 100 feet from it. Best value vs. location IMO

Cons:

Lights in room need to be updated. Have to go around turning on lights to make the room workable. Power strips are in the bed. Since I have to charge stuff each night not a big fan of electrical wiring attached to me bed frame.

Serviceable lodgings a five-minute drive from the Stowe ski resort
Pros:

In the ads, Talta looks design-forward, but the accommodations are basic. We had a Studa (bungalow) that was tight quarters for three. I had called ahead about coffee setup in the room and was told that there was a drip coffee-maker. There was no coffee maker (there was coffee in tea bags) and none to be had. The TV offered limited service. But the place was sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable, and after an extra servicing, the heat worked well. There is no parking right at the Stugas. We had a fine stay but had expected better for the price.

Cool vibes!
Pros:

Perfect location for Stowe skiiing! Shuttle at the lodge. Great views of a River, fun common area with a lounge and fireplace. Pool, sauna and hot tub and deck/patio. This is our 4th stay and We will be back!

Great location, great facilities, great staff. Pet friendly is fine if there's a way to police terms
Pros:

No breakfast served there. Would be great if there were refrigerated breakfast options for purchase that can be microwaved or continental style.

Cons:

There was a dog staying next door. The guests in that room left the dog for the evening and it barked for hours. If you are going to have folks with dogs, you should remind them that the animimal cannot be left alone (unless they get a room that is far off or a cabin?). It just put a damper on our evening as we were trying to sleep to get an early rise for skiing.

Awesomely cool!
Pros:

The vibe, the pool, hot tub and sauna. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. I like that I had a patio and could walk directly to my truck from my room.

Awesome place to stay for adults!
Pros:

Super helpful and friendly staff, wonderful amenities, and a beautiful property! They have entertainment almost every night! I’ve been staying in Stowe for almost a decade and this was our first time to Tälta but certainly not our last! Probably the best property we’ve stayed at so far!

It was a good stay overall, staff was fantastic!!
Pros:

There was no breakfast. Coffee was ok. The bench at the foot of the bed almost caused a terrible accident. My husband stubbed his toe and almost fell head first into the wall!

Cons:

A picture I saw showed 2 chairs in the room. We did not have that. It would’ve been nice

Great stay in the Stuga!
Pros:

We loved the stuga at Talta! Staff was so friendly, room was amazing. Great size, bright lighting, perfect kitchenette, plenty of privacy. Bed was very comfortable. Hot tub, pool and sauna were great especially after a long day of skiing! Bar in the basement makes great cocktails!

Great choice for skiers.
Pros:

They,be done a brilliant job of remodeling an old motel. All the decor additions are natural and soothing and weirdly Finnish (in a good way). Rooms are Scandinavian decor. It’s like they chose carefully where to spend the remodel money, and where they decided to make the investment they didn’t skimp. Beds are very comfy; there’s not a lot of decoration on the wall. You get the picture : max functionalism, streamlined decor. I thought the result is great.

Pros:

We love staying at Tälta. They are dog friendly and we love the vibe. The staff is so nice and welcoming! They are close to Stowe ski resort and have a bus stop to get to the resort right outside their parking lot if you don’t feel like driving to the resort.
