I had the best time at Talta! The vibe is fantastic and affordable! The staff is informative and wonderful! I loved the Yoga room for stretching after skiing. The sauna and jacuzzi were also helpful for this 61 year young body! The downstairs was so social with families fun and my favorite DOGS! Such a great atmosphere and so so close to the mountain! Definitely going again.

My main issue/concern centers around the thin walls. Our room was the first off the lobby and we could hear guests walking in and out of the hotel, their boots stomping, talking, etc. Additionally, our first night, the music in the lounge was advertised as going until 8pm but it went on until 10:15pm. It was very loud and we could hear it in our room upstairs. Overall our stay was very nosy and, unfortunately, we will not be staying here again—especially considering both the very expensive price for the room and the fact that our trips to Stowe involve at lot of activity and getting a good nights rest is vital.

A few additional items to note:
- On our last night, the water in the shower didn't get hot enough. I had the dial turned all the way and it was just warm.
- The bathroom and room could also use more tables/places to rest items like toiletry bags, purchases, decorative pillows, etc.

no breakfast, but the restaurant across the street was fabulous and gave us a 10% discount on the bill.

Overall a wonderful stay

Cute, quaint and had everything we needed. Live music and small bites right in the hotel, and a shuttle to Stowe Mountain. Comfy bed, hot water with nice water pressure. Enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back!

We stayed for two nights in August. Front desk person was helpful and understanding and facilitated a room change after the initial room I was given was unsatisfactory given that I had paid for an upgrade from my original reservation. The grounds are lovely and the recreational facilities good. The rooms modern, stylish, clean and comfortable though some stains on furniture upholstery. Easy access to Stowe surroundings and village, Lots of lawn for families with children to play on and older folks to enjoy. Had live music with an exceptional Irish and American folk band performing on lawn one evening -- perfect for the setting.

La localisation du Tatla Lodge est idéal, proche de Stowe, au bord de la rivière en pleine verdure. Les propriétaires ont fait du lieu un vrai petit havre de paix avec des installations ici et là pour profiter de la nature. La piscine est agréable et le jacuzzi aussi.

The staff was down to earth and attentive and helpful and informative. The grounds and the location are just beautiful and very relaxing

The shower was nice.

We have stayed here before and will stay here again! Absolutely peaceful and friendly all around from the staff to the setting.
A nice surprise after a day of traveling from a large city to have an evening concert to enjoy. Nice and quiet in the evening and throughout our stay. The pool and sauna are spotless as is the property itself.
