Pros:

Magnifique hôtel, très joli et confortable. Le personnel est très sympa. La chambre était très jolie, avec une excellente vue sur la montagne.

Le village est incroyable et très calme, parfait pour se détendre. Nous allons sûrement revenir.

Le restaurant en bas de l’hôtel est aussi délicieux. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, avec un choix assez varié.

Je recommande vivement cet endroit !

Verbally Harassed by “the Owner”
Cons:

I didn’t rate the rest of this hotel since I never made it past checking in. On the site, the room rate was almost double the allotted rate I would be reimbursed for my company, but saw in previous comments that the hotel honored a rate for my specific company, so I wrote asking if they would do the same for me. I got a message back saying yes, and then I let it go and believed I was all set.

When I arrived to the hotel - mind you, once you arrive by train there is no public transport, no taxis, no Uber - so you have to walk with your luggage. It was nighttime, I was alone (I had never traveled to a place so secluded), and my phone battery was at 2% (my battery pack had already died - I was a LONG day of traveling)

Finally I make it to the hotel; cold, tired, and just ready to go to sleep. The receptionist says she has no record of there being a special rate. I show her my phone and she shakes her head. She then goes into this little room behind the desk and this really big, older man comes out and he doesn’t ask me what’s going on or even talk to me, he just started raising his voice, using profanity about booking.com, and that what I’m saying is “shit”and kept mimicking me when i was trying to talk and explain the correspondence i had from their hotel on my phone! . Eventually he told me “as the owner I don’t want you to stay in my hotel” and he told me to leave. He was so aggressive and loud - his behavior made no sense when compared to what was being discussed. I wasn’t asking for anything that I didn’t have proof of that they had agreed to. The behavior was wild, scary - especially for a woman traveling alone in a place where I don’t speak the language, no taxis - I couldn’t stop crying, but I sure as hell wasn’t going to stay there, so I walked back out into the dark.

I reported the incident to booking.com (absolutely amazing support!) and they got the charge refunded, I reported it to my company and I reported it to the police.
