Older hotel that offered clean rooms and amazing views.
Pros:

Our room was updated with laminate flooring and the bathroom also was also updated. The view was Amazing with the sunrise in the morning.

Cons:

The ceiling fan needs to be replaced. But the air-conditioning worked great.

Loved it!! Can't wait to go back!
Pros:

I've always wanted to stay there and I'm so glad that I did! I had the king room with balcony looking out to Lake Michigan. The room was nicely updated. I was very happy. There were a lot of wooden chairs on the beach with at least 7 firerounds for a nice fire on the beach at night. They even have wood bundles you can buy. I would definitely stay there again!

Cons:

The only thing that would make this place perfect is a pool and hot tub.

Great service and a cozy stay

I stay at this hotel for the annual wine fest

Not worth the price

The view of the lake.

This place is run down and needs updates. One of the doors in the bedroom was sealed around by ducktape (that was actually funny to look at because it's just so ridiculous), we heard the people next door talking clearly as if they were right in our bedroom. Couch had some pretty big stains. Bedding was old. Maybe if the furniture fabric, bedding and curtains were newer it might make a difference. There must have been one of those scent releasers in one of the outlets cause there was an awful perfumy smell, we couldn't find it. Came home at night and none of the lamps turned on, they were unplugged.

A women who met us in Algoma booked one of the other rooms and we walked to her around back to her room at night, the curtains were so old and stained around the edges and had a 5 inch rip on top by the curtain rod. The room was so dismal we took her back to our room and she slept on our couch. After telling the manager later our friend didn't feel safe staying there alone because the window and door was so outdated, and curtains didn't seal, he told me that was funny cause he knew the people staying near her. A person staying alone and not feeling safe because of conditions isn't funny.

We didn't have time to discus with the hotel before we left so called when got home. Manager said they fixed a few things not mentioned here and that the boss would call us back, but hasn't. Stayed in many VRBO places which were great and comfortable. This one was not.
