Pros:

We liked that our motel was on the outskirts of Door County, not very busy. The view of Lake Michigan from our balcony was superb and even got to do some rock hunting. The sunsets across the road were beautiful! Location and price were great!! We loved the Lake Michigan shoreline with it's rustic curvy roads. Cave Point was a really cool place! Only made it to Sister Bay on the bay side, but was far more touristy, so don't feel we missed out on much!! This part of Wisconsin was beautiful with all it's rolling farmland and undeveloped countryside!! Loved It!!

Beautiful location of you want to be close to the beach!
Pros:

It's Ali about the location!! Room was clean enough. I expect the halls to show sand because of the beach. Outside seating and fire pits was a great bonus.

Adequate and close to the event we were in town for.
Pros:

There as no breakfast. Facility is in sore need of upkeep! Dead tree blocking our view of Lake Michigan. Doors don’t fit well and stick. Woodwork is beat up, parking lot entrance is terrible! Communication is not clear as to which rooms are walk out to the lake. Windows not clean, towels thin, bathrooms outdated. No maintenance is being done.

Because of Shanty days all hotels were booked. Otherwise we would have left.

On the beach with excellent lake views

Cons:

The room we reserved was unavailable for some reason. We were given a different smaller room, took about 80 dollars off the final bill. The smell of disinfectant/cleaner permeated the room. The beds are very uncomfortable. The pillows are flat and hard. The towels in the bathroom were old and so thin they were see through. Carpet in the hallway was atrocious, really bad.

An amazing hidden gem!!!!
Pros:

The views were amazing. The staff friendly. The hotel was clean. Plenty to do, short drive to many attractions. Great places to eat in town. Small town vibe. Kids loved playing in the water, looking for rocks on the beach, late campfires with s’mores. Just amazing!

Cons:

I would recommend an outdoor shower or hose with brooms in each room. But if kids getting dirty from play is my only complaint I’ll take it! Also some steps to the beach… we finally figured out a good safe path, but to others navigating the rocks it didn’t turn out so well.

Location was great. Beautiful view, great location was great for touring door county.

Cons:

Beach furniture could be updated. Better walking paths to the beach(had to go up and down on bigger rocks..) housekeepers cleaned my room one day and some how managed to throw away 3 of my outfits. Talk to front desk and best they could do is credit $50.00 off my room. 😡. Good thing it was our last day of our 5 day vacation...place is going down hill we use t o love staying there but think we will find a new place to stay.

Older hotel that offered clean rooms and amazing views.
Pros:

Our room was updated with laminate flooring and the bathroom also was also updated. The view was Amazing with the sunrise in the morning.

Cons:

The ceiling fan needs to be replaced. But the air-conditioning worked great.
