Vielen Dank an Manager Will für seine Hilfe. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, in China deutschsprachiges Hotelpersonal anzutreffen. Obwohl das Hotel etwas älter ist, war der Service ausgezeichnet. Ich habe sogar nach dem Auschecken noch eine E-Mail von Will erhalten; ich bitte um Entschuldigung, dass ich sie erst zu Hause gelesen habe.

It is a grand hotel, room is nice but equipment need to upgrade .

A very memorable vacation, beyond expectation in many ways!
Pros:

Shangri-la is always a safe choice in China. Nanjing Shangri-la has the best location, you enjoy the tranquility and beauty of 玄武湖 and it is very accessible to all major spots yet away from the very busy touristy area. It is 3 minutes walk to underground, bus stop in front of the hotel, lots of restaurants, entertainment and convenience store nearby. Service was outstanding. The housekeeping was very attentive and detailed, she even noticed the cosmetic mirror was running out of battery and charged it! The room service was always responsive and offered service promptly. The porter Mr. 鄭政 (hope I remembered his name correctly) was very helpful who assisted all our luggage and airport transfer. The check in, check out process was seamless. Thank you for the butterfly cookies and fruit basket, we really enjoy our stay.

Cons:

I am a bit concern for the $2000 deposit physically charged to my credit card and I can only get back the refund within 7 days. There is no proof of refund receipt as well. While other hotels only hold the card for payment or refund immediately after check out.

Pros:

Die Lage fast direkt am See und an der Stadtmauer. Der Blick über diesen. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Man bekommt Frühstück, Teetime mit Snacks oder Kaffee, Abends Coktails und Snacks. Alles mit Blick über den herrlichen See. Das war bei uns inklusive.
Das Fitnessstudio ist perfekt ausgestattet und das Schwimmbad sehr schön zum Bahnen ziehen.
Das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

La mia cliente è rimasta molto soddisfatta. Ha detto di aver pensato che un uomo alto le avesse assegnato una camera di categoria superiore e che la stanza era molto confortevole. Consiglierebbe sicuramente questo posto ad altri clienti in futuro!
