I like the room and the location, food was ok but the breakfast could be kept covered to ensure freshness
I asked for early check in and was willing to pay but the earliest I could get into the room was 1.30pm and the cost was €30. I rather used the money to pay for my lunch, in rhe restaurant while I wait. I would have appreciated some courtesy and being advised the room was ready before 3pm, without me going back to reception to ask. I would have felt someone went the extra mile without the need of being mainly transactional, since I anyway spent money in the premises.

Check in could have been better - Staff were polite, efficient & professional but we were told it would be €30 to check in at 2.30pm (30mins before 3pm)
We were up visiting a family member so we went off to see them and came back at 4pm, we had been encouraged to stay & have a drink or some food - obviously staff are encouraged to up sell.
After check in we considered having a drink, and even though the bar looked cosy it was set up for dining, we could have sat in reception but we decided to go elsewhere.
My only other complaint is the hand soap in the bedroom was watered down so much that it went all over me when i tried to use it

The breakfast was truly awful
I had an excellent experience at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The “Love Dose” special cocktail was outstanding, and the food was exceptional. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was impeccable. Devesh and his team were warm, professional, and highly attentive, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Their efforts truly enhanced the evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
Great price, got on-street parking right outside, the bed was the nicest bed I've ever slept in!! Staff were super friendly, would definitely recommend (actually, have already recommended it to colleagues). I will definitely stay here next time I have an overnight in Sligo
