Modern look

Cons:

Upgrade was pointless. £40 for a larger room which was tiny.

Pros:

It was a beautiful modern hotel, very luxurious feeling and nice and clean. Stunning bathroom and beauty furniture everywhere. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Cons:

The food was both lovely and lacking in places. I had leek and potato soup for a starter that seemed like a bucket of water was dumped in, a cup of soup would have been better. My truffle mushroom pasta was delicious and satisfying and the cheesecake quite nice too. My husband enjoyed chicken wings, chicken noodle stir-fry and cheesecake. The breakfast items were high quality and tasted great but there was a lack of variety, no mushrooms or fried tomatoes etc. the coffee was not that pleasant, had dregs in it. The meat my husband ate for breakfast looked plump and more premium than other places though the bacon looked a little underdone. Overall food rates 3.8 out of 5.
