Harbor Light Inn

It is a lovely property and very clean. There is ample parking for no additional charge. All of the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast had a good selection of food, from fruit to yogurt to bagels and then some kind of pastry or coffee cake.

The location of the Inn is great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was at the bottom of the stairs (#5 I think?) and we could hear people coming and going. The breakfast was a true disappointment. There was lots to choose from but very little in the way of protein. Fruit salad, cereals, hard boiled eggs, coffee cakes, cheese plate with ham and bagels/english muffins/bread. A true Standard American Diet.

The innkeepers and staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the homemade freshly baked muffins and blueberry or banana breads. The bed was comfortable and sheets so soft I need to get some for myself. Very charming property near shops and a few restaurants.

As soon as we got there the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. I had mentioned being vegan regarding breakfast options and they went out of their way to get extra vegan foods for me! There was a lovely breakfast spread and it was wonderful to have specific options for me included! Beyond that the room was clean and beautiful. There were several cute common room areas and the outdoor space was delightful. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature.

We stayed in the Inn for a week. The property is lovely, the crew there go beyond your expectations. Rooms are clean, and appropriately furnished based on the age of the resort and the surrounding area. We didn't expect the "newest" of everything. What we got was perfect for the Inn. Wifi, room amenities, cleanliness, the staff, the location - we couldn't have asked for more.

Very nice hotel in the perfect location to explore the town of Marblehead. Highly recommend.

The Inn is lovely and all the staff made our stay so welcoming. The amenities are really comfortable and the breakfast simple and delicious. The pool area is just ideal. We came to support Scotland in the World Cup and the residents of Marblehead welcomed us with open arms. It was amazing to stay in a town where the everyone is so proud of it's history and happy for you to be a part of it ... very much like us Jocks!!

The breakfast was simple but excellent, featuring bread still warm from the oven, fruit, yogurt, etc. The breakfast room was very attractive, too.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Harbor Light Inn and we loved it. The inn has a very homey feel; there were several comfortable rooms on the first floor where we were able to sit in front of the fireplace and relax after a day of walking around the town. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff at the Inn was especially lovely and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay very comfortable and quaint - all older people staying here if you’re curious of the demographic. Great staff nicely appointed room/ breakfast, good parking, pretty gardens. We stayed on floor 3 and it was very quiet - nothing but birds to wake us. (Note: There are no elevators and the stairs are steep/narrow and can be very tricky with bags. Those with mobility concerns should book low floors.)

We stayed for one night for a celebration of life memorial that was across the street from the inn at old north church.
We found the inn to be comfortable and lovely! Everyone was so nice and it was convenient to town and restaurants.
I wished we had had more time to spend because it was a quick one night trip, but I’d love to go back with my daughter because the shops looked cute, and the town is so relaxing.
We had a big king room with a fireplace and a big bathroom… seemed like it might be the most spacious in the inn… also had a little sitting room with a sofa bed ( tiny room) so you could have another person sleep there. Extra Room had a door.

Excellent location and parking. The back yard area is very nice as is the bar, lounge area and breakfast area.

The room was spacious, clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. It is definitely an old structure with creaky floors to match its age, but all of this added to the unique ambiance of the inn. The staff were very helpful and friendly and they even upgraded our room type! The breakfast was good with lots of options and their homemade granola was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful place - a little slice of history in the heart of Marblehead! We visited for our anniversary, and the staff upgraded our room. They were kind, helpful, and communication couldn't have been better. Our room was a dream - spacious, comfortable, and clean. Highly recommend!
