Excellent location and parking. The back yard area is very nice as is the bar, lounge area and breakfast area.
The hallway smelled of fish the afternoon we arrived but the smell was pretty much gone by evening
What a beautiful place - a little slice of history in the heart of Marblehead! We visited for our anniversary, and the staff upgraded our room. They were kind, helpful, and communication couldn't have been better. Our room was a dream - spacious, comfortable, and clean. Highly recommend!
The location of Harbor Light Inn in Marblehead, MA perfect- close to everything and tons of parking on-site. The staff were exceptional and beyond friendly and helpful. They suggested several places to dine and see in the area. The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable. We would stay here again.
Charming, beautiful inn, conveniently located in the heart of Marblehead. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious— among the very best I’ve had in an inn. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I'm a local resident and I always send visitors here. This week I moved into the Inn to escape the blizzard. Cassandra and Matt were so welcoming and reassuring during a stressful time. The beautiful atmosphere of this Historic Inn and their kindness...gave me a great memory of the Blizzard of 2026.
Wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend at the Harbor Light Inn. The atmosphere was great - cozy, comfortable and very clean rooms. Charming breakfast buffet and treats for the weekend. Loved walking through the historic area in town. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Harborlight Inn. From the time we checked in, we were greeted cheerfully by one of the owners and give them recommendations of where to visit and eat in the Marblehead area. We’re also treated to the holiday party that evening. The location is fantastic. The rooms are nicely appointed the staff is excellent. The continental breakfast in the morning is delicious. I could go on and on and on. I look forward to my next visit.
Location is great for walking around old town. Room was comfortable and staff accommodating.
Breakfast buffet did not include any hot breakfast selection as in years past. Bar was very noisy and crowded.
The building was beautiful and homey! The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were cozy. Breakfast was in a beautiful space and the food was great!
Very little, the only thing was we booked a room with a fireplace. We have one room and the fireplace didn't work. Then were were placed in another room and given a duraflame log and it smoked up the room. It made everything smell like smoke. But, it definitely added to the experience and made a memory. We loved the place and would definitely stay there again.
The location was fantastic. Marblehead really surprised us with its beautiful houses. Accommodation was great as were all the staff.
