We were stuck in a tiny room (unlike photos) outside actual hotel in garden. Over £300 for a tiny room not great value tbh

Lovely Inn. Great management and staff. Wonderful alternative to Salem.
Pros:

Perfectly sized. Great breakfast especially the breads and homemade granola. Fabulous water pressure (we’re from California) and very clean facilities. Easy drive to Salem and all in all a good location for the start of our honeymoon.

Harbor Light Inn is a piece of heaven
Pros:

When we first walked into Harbor Light Inn my husband and I were greeted warmly by Carolyn. She gave us great recommendations for some places to eat for dinner that night after driving for 15 hours. We then walked up to our room and were immediately blown away with how breathtaking the room was. From the fireplace to the bed to the bathroom everything had a rustic charm. The next morning we enjoyed a wonderful continental breakfast. I can’t stress this enough do not skip the fresh baked breads!!! They’re amazing!!! My husband and I stayed three nights. On our last night we actually decided not to venture out and to stay at the Inn because we loved it so much. So, we ordered a pizza and watched a movie in our room just to enjoy the last piece of heaven. We’re already looking to come again for a staycation because we loved it here so much. Harbor Light Inn is truly a one of a kind.

Lovely place, great location and excellent staff
Pros:

It is a lovely property and very clean. There is ample parking for no additional charge. All of the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast had a good selection of food, from fruit to yogurt to bagels and then some kind of pastry or coffee cake.

Cons:

Because it is actually 2 buildings that have been joined, it took a day to figure out the best way to our room.

Pros:

The location of the Inn is great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was at the bottom of the stairs (#5 I think?) and we could hear people coming and going. The breakfast was a true disappointment. There was lots to choose from but very little in the way of protein. Fruit salad, cereals, hard boiled eggs, coffee cakes, cheese plate with ham and bagels/english muffins/bread. A true Standard American Diet.

Highly recommend. Beautiful room, excellent friendly service.
Pros:

The innkeepers and staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the homemade freshly baked muffins and blueberry or banana breads. The bed was comfortable and sheets so soft I need to get some for myself. Very charming property near shops and a few restaurants.

Cons:

As with all older properties there are some small inconveniences like small narrow stairways and an older air conditioner that somehow turned off during the day while we were gone and came back to a sweltering attic level room. But the overall experience was excellent.
