Good location close to the centre of Lyndhurst and other areas of the New Forest.
Swimming pool was clean and the children had a great time.
A continental breakfast was included in our package but you had to pay extra for a cooked breakfast.
The continental breakfast options were very limited.
The bedroom was clean and tidy but the carpets need updating and my son said the mattress on the bunk bed was uncomfortable.
Hotel price was expensive for 1 night’s stay.

No room service, no cleaning. House has no sound insulation, you can hear everything that goes on beside your room and above and below. Corridor extremely loud.
We liked the buffet breakfast as there was a fairly good choice of food.
The location was good as we were able to walk into Lyndhurst for evening meals and bars.
The swimming pool was good and the changing rooms were adequate; a bench in the changing rooms would have been helpful.
The quiet room was a welcome relief from noisy and misbehaving children in the breakfast room!
I was under the impression when booking this hotel that 'Breakfast included' meant a full English breakfast and not a continental breakfast, as was the case. If we wanted a full English breakfast then there was an additional charge of £10 per person. This should have been made clear at the booking stage, as we would probably have not booked this hotel for that reason alone.
Staff were lovely, Room was fine but basic. Breakfast was ok, but we asked for sauces and they were eventually brought over when we had almost finished. Would be better if there was a help yourself station.

The continental breakfast was very good and the staff very attentive.
Beginning to show its age. The hot water system needs a bit of an update, low pressure and not very warm water.Some of the carpets need replacing.
Lovely stay. Staff were so nice and really made our stay.
My only complaint was the corridor light remained on all night and shone under the door. I had to put a towel at the bottom of the door to block some of the light.
Hotel was nice, a bit dated in places but this didn't ruin the stay. Swimming pool was lovely.
Rooms either side of us were very noisy until around 11.30pm which woke our sleeping child several times. And then again in the morning with children running up and down the corridor.
Great location, so peaceful at night and in the morning, surrounded by nature. Great service, food options (restaurant in the hotel), we stayed for one night for a little getaway and had a continental breakfast which was very lovely. We tried the pool and the water was good temperature.
The rooms and the swimming pool area are in need of some TLC. It was all clean, but perhaps some TLC at least in the bathrooms and also definitely more chairs or loungers around the pool area.
Warm indoor pool! Kids loved it. Lovely staff. Great ambience. Lovely beds. Kids had good sized bunk beds.
