Hotel de France

Rooms are smaller than my bathroom in NYC apartment . No AC. Everything is super old that even when I plugged in my portable travel steamer for clothes it literally burnt it RIP. Staircase only! It’s narrow and if you have suitcases - good luck carrying it, also hotel cancelled my reservation as they said oh we do not work with Expedia . Do not recommend

The guys at the front desk were really nice and helpful with my suitcases and other services. Everything was clean too, my stay was niceee

So this place is cheap. I needed something for the night and it served purpose. It isn't anything to rave about but the staff are friendly and the sheets were clean.. the carpet is a bit ominous but nothing a pair of shoes can't handle.. the lovely man at reception carried my bag up to room . He was very helpful

*NO ELEVATOR..access to hotel is an elf door with a SPIRAL stairs..IMAGINE!

* Parking is .25 miles or more AWAY from property in a very very very busy area with little to NO Instructions!!!!!!!

*NO Air Conditioning!!!!!!

*A shot of coffee and a tiny cup for hot chocolate from their machine for $6 Euros!!!
It is for FREE in any other hotel!!

* The grandfather who owns the place forbids his grandchildren from giving more than 1 ..yes ONE roll of toilet paper!!!!

*Dirty anything!!

* Zero Amenities or hotel room stuff NOTHING!!

I have NEVER been to a disgusting place like this.. besides that it is EXPENSIVE!!

Very nice stay! Very close to transportation and some nice restaurants, as well as grocery and convenience stores!

2 young girls stayed here, left first thing in the morning. Never felt so unsafe in our lives. Could hear s** next door, people smoking cigarettes everywhere , walls paper thin. The location was awful, nothing near and at night there was drunk, homeless, and drugged up people everywhere. Please do not stay here for your own sake.

Sängkläder tvättade rena men efterlämnat en kladdig hinna på ytan. Duschutrymmets lås är gammalt och svårt att låsa. Otroligt svårt att ta sej hela vägen upp i smala branta trappor. Personalen ok. Absolut för dyrt för detta enstjärniga hotell.

The Hotel was basic but very clean the area was a little
worrying but vert near the metro.

This was a cost effective hotel and the amenities are minimal which is okay, had no problem with.

The first receptionist was very nice and kind. I checked in and got to my room. The beds were made and appeared clean but there was hair and small particles all over the sheets and pillows. I mentioned this to a different receptionist and he moved me to another room but that room also had the same issue with dirty sheets.


The receptionist said they had no more rooms. I asked what am I supposed to do and he said nothing. I then asked if I needed a refund and he told me to contact Hotels.com . I grabbed my stuffed from the room and checked out, returning the key.

I contacted Hotels.com about the situation and they contacted the hotel. The hotel denied a refund but offered a ‘free’ stay for my room. I already had to move to another place so I no longer needed their services and persisted on a refund. The hotel denied a refund in reference their policy. Even after saying that they were not able to provide a room for me that they did not have any left available. They still will not offer me a refund and hotels.com was not able to assist or hold the hotel accountable for not having available rooms for me. I still have not received a refund for a room that was not clean or sanitary to be in. Will not recommend booking. You may run the risk of a room that is not suitable to stay in and they are not willing to issue a refund

The HOTEL FRANCE 18, id a place disgusting; it smells like cigarettes and sex. It's actually a hotel. They don't mention that in the app's description. You can hear all kinds of unpleasant noises.
I want my refund so I can go to another hotel. This app charges you for advance payment, and they don't tell you about it. I didn't authorize the advance charge, and now I no longer trust that they have my bank details. I write to their app, and they ignore me.

I will not stay at this France 18 hotel; it's horrible, and there's no security for your belongings.

The France 18 hotel is disgusting; it smells like cigarettes and other things. A terrible place for the price they charge, plus the taxes they don't tell you about, and they raise the price by more than 20 euros over the quoted price. Don't use this app; it's terrible.
Really, on my trip to Spain and France, you have been a terrible service intermediary. The flight was also delayed. They offer a price and then increase the rate. They lie when questioned about a lodging charge that you, as an app, made, improperly using my bank and personal information.

Infelizmente a pia do meu banheiro estava entupida e a luz queimada. Como foi uma passagem muito rápida, acabei não reportando.
Hotel próximo ao Metrô, porém região um pouco deserta na parte da noite.
Escadas estreitas. Para quem estiver com malas grandes, não é uma boa opção.

Excelente, quarto confortável, o banheiro compartilhado também foi super tranquilo de uso, Wi-Fi ótima, a localização e excelente também.

La ubicación no es lo más turístico pero esta cerca del metro. Fui en temporada baja, así que realmente no había muchos huéspedes y todo estaba limpio. La recepción y habitaciones solo se puedes acceder por escaleras fijas, pero el recepcionista fue amable conmigo y me ayudó a subir mi maleta. La habitación se limpió todos los días que estuve ahí. Si tienes que pasar 1 o 2 noches en Paris, es Perfecto.
El baño es compartido pero como fui en temporada baja, solo lo compartía con otro huésped.

Nuit au calme. Chambre propre....
