Great hotel in a super location. Walking into Shanklin was easy. Nice places to eat and drink. The hotel grounds are lovely.
Everything. Great location, great staff, exceptional breakfast.
Nothing all excellent.
Travelled for a 2 night stay and was very pleased with the hotel, great location, peaceful surroundings, lovely staff.
Would definitley recommend this hotel. Stunning breakfast with great views.
It’s a beautiful property in a wonderful location. A real treat
There’s nothing to not like
Clean and tidy
Very friendly staff
Good location and excellent facilities
As above
Love this hotel. Hadn’t been for a couple of years and they have taken it up a notch with some updating. Love it even more now.
Nothing
The location and facilities, were great. You could also use the sister hotel which had a pool spar and games room. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very attentive especially a young lady called Brook on reception very helpful and extremely polite.
The only thing we didn’t like was the rooms sound proofing. We had two lovely quiet nights until some new guests arrived on our last night who unfortunately could not shut a door using the handle and would let it slam shut!
Unfortunately we have found this in almost all the hotels we have stayed in. It would be good practice to remind all guests on arrival that it’s a hotel with other people staying in it!
A lovely hotel. Extremely dog friendly.
Room was lovely and clean and the meal we had there was very good.
The facilities, the food, the garden and the cliff.
All was good
Very good breakfast - excellent choices available.
Kettle in room did not fit under bathroom tap so filling with water was difficult.
Very helpful staff. Access to indoor pool. Good location.
Bedroom build and fittings very cheap. Very bright white lights. Poor soundproofing between rooms, floors, corridor.
Classic old seaside hotel, the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
It may be the time of year, but yeah, outside did look tired. But the building has some fabulous features.
