The Singhasari Resort

I had a bad experience ever to stay at 5 star hotels. I stay with my husband and baby on 18 March 2026. Our first room was 2222. The AC was broken, and the water heater also not working well. My baby shower with almost cold water in the afternoon. After that my husband call and complain about it, she said to wait 15min for the technichian. We wait almost an hour and my husband call 3 times but no action and solution. We are tired, my baby crying because the room so hot and not comfortable. After that my husband came to the reception and she just do some ACTION to move our room. It was 7.45pm we have to pack our bag and move. We are so upset and tired .
Our expectation for 5 stars hotel at least have standart and checklist.
AC and water heater is so bacis for hotel facility!!!! We paid higher than our hotel before (golden tulip) and we expect room and service better but in fact NO.

Next day 19 march 2026, In the morning we go for breakfast, my husband request for baby chair and sit inside the resto. The staff said not available all baby chair used and full inside, we sit outside the resto near the hosteat. And then not long after about 5 minutes, another guest come and request for the baby chair and he said wait, and will looking the baby chair for him.
We are so so UPSET agin, why he dont do the same service to us??????after my husband complain and ask why? Then he just give us babychair and sit inside. We are SO UPSET for the TERRIBLE SERVICE experience during our breakfast :(

Absolutely will not come back again to this hotel!!!!!

Nice hotel and good facilities

We stayed here for a short family getaway from Surabaya and had such a great experience. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a Premier room, which made our stay even more special.

What we loved the most is how family-friendly the resort is. There are so many activities for kids that my child didn’t even want to go home. The atmosphere is relaxing, the facilities are well maintained, and the staff are very welcoming.

Definitely one of the best family resorts in Batu. We would love to come back again.

Overall great experience, slow checkin during peak season of CNY but they are giving their best (all 4 admin desks are stacked and staff rushing left and right)

Happened to get a room with a leaky shower-head (floor is really wet). The room key reader broke but was quickly fixed.

The breakfast was the best. I did not see a single food item that was “empty”. With so many people coming in. Plenty of staff are constantly restocking the buffet options.

All the staff are super friendly, from the security on entrance to the pool guy are amazing. The location quite nice. The architecture and design quite classy. That very good design made the noise level among rooms are zero. Quite and comfy. The room we stayed in pretty large, the bed comfy, clean and neat and complete amenities. The price is very worthy and define a literally five star.

The new years event is fun and interesting. There are a variety of food and it's delicious, a lot to pick from if you're a picky eater.

I have holidays with 3 grand children at The Singhasari Resort Batu on 20 December 2025. First I am doubtful because the hotel is not new, then I read the review, and call directly to the hotel, the reservation officer I forgot the name explained clea rlyabout the room category and very nice man.

When I arrived, I like the spacious and nice decorated lobby .
I had premier pool view and add 1 extrabed. I came withe 3 grandchidren and 1 kids helper, so we were 5 persons.

The bedroom and the bathroom are spacious, and well maintan, clean and bright. Only the hair dryer is old hairdryer and it did not work, but then I called the reception and they sent me a portable hair dryer.

My grand daughter left her animal bracelet, perhaps it was dropped behind the bed, then the hotel message me and send it to me by post and I had to pay the delivery cost. Thank you so much, appreciate it.

The breakfast is also nice, The Restaurant' staffs are also proffesional. I have to make reservation to avoid the crowd ( there are 3 time slots ). The kids under 5 years are free.

Definitely recomend The Singhasari, the rate is good compare to others and most important The Singhasari has excellent staffs who are always easy to help the guests.

An amazing and unforgettable experience! The ambiance and atmosphere were so warm from the moment I arrived. The room was incredible, especially the balcony and the super comfy bed. The hotel facilities were outstanding—truly a one-stop destination for everything. The pool was great and I enjoyed it a lot. It’s very kid-friendly with plenty of activities for children. Highly recommended! Definitely the best place to stay while in Batu

Totally the room, hotel facilty, and hotel food are good. However, Jaccuzi pools are only operate one pools of three pools. The others two pool was not operated even many vistors came there. The jaccuzi also not so big.
Hopefully to improve for further operational.

Overall, I was very satisfied and comfortable with the hotel facilities, but there was a drawback regarding the iron borrowing service. It would be great if the in-room ironing facilities could be improved

The resort's atmosphere is beautiful, with lots of plants, comfortable, and rich with ethnic culture. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Kid's friendly resort.
The rooms are homey, comfortable, and very clean. Complete amenities are available.

I had such a pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the warm service to the excellent facilities. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back again. I would also highly recommend this hotel to my family and relatives.

Place is huge and lots of activities (flying fox, atv, etc), lots of photo spot and have stunning mountain view of Batu. Recommended for family staycation 🫶
