The service and surroundings do not match the very high price tag - stay at Quinta de Comporta instead!
Pros:

The rooms were beautifully luxurious.
The beach club is lovely, and it is a real treat to have this included.

Cons:

Our room was an annexe to another property, where we could se ether pool and we looked at the road.
It was located in pine forest some distance from the beach, and in September it felt cold rather than Mediterranean (it was 28 degrees at the beach).
The staff were terrible.
Checking in took ages and then we were asked to take a seat at the bar while they found someone to take us to our room…and then promptly forgot about us while they checked others in and took them to their rooms.
Breakfast was chaos - dirty tables not cleared; being offered and asking for coffee 3 times before getting it ourselves ; cooked food emerging from the kitchen cold; untrained staff who did not know how to do their job.

Prachtig resort op 20 min rijden van de ongerepte stranden
Pros:

Prachtig gelegen, vooral het ‘oude’ deel van het resort. Mooie ‘bio-pool suite’ met uitstekend bed. Uitgebreid ontbijt en zeer vriendelijk /behulpzaam personeel. World class gym (zelfs een aparte pilates studio). Erg leuke beach club op 20 min rijden aan het ongerepte strand. Goede en ruime (maar wel dure) diner opties.

Cons:

Resort bestaat uit 2 delen, gescheiden door drukke weg zonder verbindingsweg/tunnel. Om naar het overdekte zwembad te gaan moet je dus met de auto, fiets is gevaarlijk. En het zwembad is (begrijpelijk) vol kinderen - zou beter zijn om ook een ‘adult only pool’ te hebben aan de ‘oude’ kant. Die is er wel maar dan moet je ook een peperdure spa behandeling kopen. De buitenbaden zijn onverwarmd en ijskoud. Onze badkamer was op dag 1 niet schoon. De poort naar het hotel ligt vlak aan de weg - kan gevaarlijk zijn als er meer dan 1 auto naar binnen wil.

Cons:

Sono andata in ottobre e con il costo della camera mi aspettavo una camera più grande. Mancavano asciugamani e refill cuffia da bagno.Se spendo 800 € al giorno, mi aspetto un servizio impeccabile.

Cons:

Staff muito desorganizado, principalmente na sala no PA, serviço péssimo que não abona nada para a categoria do hotel.
Para um PA que encerra as 11:00, não haver reposição a partir das 10:00 e evita os Hóspedes quando pedem algo que já não há na mesa. Falta de Loiça e pedidos de bebidas que ficam no esquecimento

O local é muito bonito. O quarto e muito bom, espaçoso.

Cons:

Cada dia q passa, vc entra mais tarde e sai mais cedo dos hotéis. Tentamos uma saida mais tarde e eles disseram que so poderiam responder no dia da saida, e era visivel que o hotel estava vazio, mas o valor eles sabiam informar c toda facilidade. Entendo q a saida tardia atrapalha a rotina, mas temos q ter um bom senso. Eu iria aproveitar um pouco mais, gastar no almoço. Eles não tentam encantar o cliente. O q adianta uma bela hospedagem se o cliente não volta e outra oportunidade.

Sublime, sem dúvida!

Tivemos uma estadia absolutamente incrível no Sublime Comporta e saímos verdadeiramente encantados com a experiência.

Tivemos a agradável surpresa de receber um upgrade gratuito. O quarto era simplesmente espetacular, muito confortável e integrado numa envolvente natural extraordinária. Todo o espaço do hotel é muito bonito, cuidado e transmite uma sensação de tranquilidade e exclusividade.

O pequeno-almoço foi excelente, com produtos de grande qualidade e muita variedade. Destacamos também a qualidade das amenities, o staff, o shuttle para a praia em horários programados, que foi muito prático, e um dos ginásios mais completos que já encontrámos num hotel. Nota-se uma enorme atenção ao detalhe e uma preocupação genuína em proporcionar uma experiência de grande qualidade.

Cons:

A nossa única nota menos positiva foi no momento do check-out. Apesar de a estadia já estar integralmente paga, foi-nos apresentada uma gratificação adicional de 10% sobre o valor total da estadia. Embora tenha sido apresentada como opcional, sentimos alguma ênfase na sugestão.

Compreendemos perfeitamente a possibilidade de deixar uma gratificação quando o hóspede assim o entende e reconhecemos o trabalho de toda a equipa. No entanto, num hotel deste posicionamento, consideramos desnecessário colocar sobre o hóspede a responsabilidade de ter de recusar explicitamente uma gratificação de 10% no momento do check-out. Na nossa opinião, este tipo de pedido poderia simplesmente não ser colocado desta forma, precisamente para preservar a experiência de exclusividade e conforto que o Sublime proporciona.
