Great place to go for a drink in the lovely courtyard and excellent food too. Libby, Scott and the team are very friendly and efficient with a special mention for Michael and Fred.
Highly recommended
Excellent location. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms
very good breakfast
lack ot parking spaces
Everything from start to finish. A warm welcome from Lauren when we arrived.
Nothing
The staff were all smiling, polite and friendly. The breakfast had a variety of options and the location was brilliant, central to everything.
The safe in our room was damaged and we were only aware when I was about to use it. The inconvenience of having to lock valuables in the our suitcase was irritating but bearable as our stay was only one night. My rating would have been high but for this.
Breakfast was ok.
This attic room had very poor ventilation and it was a very hot night - The George should at least have provided a powerful fan. I chose the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast option - wish I hadn't - the menu choices for dinner were very limited and the food uninspiring to say the least.
The location was excellent with a brilliant bus service to other places, we did not eat breakfast as it was a little over priced.
The room could have done with more storage space for clothes, 2 small bedside drawers was ok for a short stay but any longer they would have been inadequate.
Lovely rooms
Half used shower gel from previous guests left in the shower
Fabulous location in the centre of the town. Good breakfast and lovely courtyard for relaxing outside in the sunshine. Quiet and spacious room.
The area was lovely perfect for where we needed to get to. The breakfast was very nice
The bathroom and bed was clean but there was a fan supplied that had clear years worth of dust in it, as well as dusty sides. The carpet also looked like it needed a good hoover.
Lovely pub with very well appointed rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and food very good.
