Phangan Paragon Resort & Spa

The Paragon was a great resort and hotel at a good price! Kai is an incredible host who gave a lot of recommendations, helped offer taxi services, and went above and beyond to try to help us figure out alternatives/rebooking when the ferries were cancelled and we were stuck on the island.
The room itself is pretty basic, but has everything you need. The pool area is lovely to relax at and the spa offers great treatments!
Location-wise it's walkable to a bunch of bars and restaurants, and only a minute to the beach and a beach bar. Also, there are places nearby to rent a motorbike and a 7-11 across the street where you can use a credit card to make purchases (most of the island is cash-only) and use the ATM.

This place is a good place. A very chilled place in the bohemian area surrounding Sri Tanu. We stay in a spacious villa with nice wooden furniture and a cozy bathroom with a whirled bathtube. Many windows give views to the nice planted garden. The pool is spacious two and with its depth - 2 meters - great for a swim action, especially enjoyed by our sons. There is a small gym by the pool side and some nice seats with a table. perfect for breakfast. The beach is just at the end of our garden. The place isnt brand new, it has a kind of ,patina'. This underlines the bohemian spirit and the soul of this place. We are feeling at home. Thank You.

I lost my card and very close to running out of cash and could not figure out a solution if it wasnt for the help of the staff here.

They are not just friendly but they actually went out of the way to help with my predicament.

On top of all of this they were very accommodating and helpful.

My room was as beautiful and comfortable as the photos show.

I was here for a organic coconut body massage & facial massage. They both were excellent!
The facial massage was actually a full facial as well as massage. It was relaxing and my skin felt amazing after.
The spa is beautiful!! The staff is very sweet and well trained. I trained in massage and esthetics so know about these services. Well done!

Overall ok. Staff was very friendly and room was ok for the price but there was quite a big construction site right next to the hotel and the sound proofing wasn’t the best...nice and quiet beach near the hotel + nice massage at the hotel spa. Not much to do around the hotel so wouldn’t stay more than few nights or then hire a bike to go around.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war nicht besonders da die Dusche nur wenig Wasser zum Duschen Abgabe zudem war das Bett sehr schlecht

Das Hotel liegt in einer der schönsten Ecken der Insel. Das Frühstück war leider solala, der Service und die Tips waren klasse. Die Baustelle gegenüber hat einen Deal mit dem Hotel und fängt später an und hört früher auf. Sollte sich auch in ein paar Wochen erledigt haben. Waren insgesamt echt happy und die Insel hat uns neben Koh Tao und Koh Samui am meisten zugesagt. Betten übrigens super bequem und die Anlage wird gut in Schuss gehalten.

If you're looking for something unique, (not your typical "high density" resort) and enjoy luscious green around you, this place may be what you're looking for. It's a small cosy place, not many rooms (which is great for us cos it's quiet). The chalet may look a little run down but interior-wise it's clean and really well-kept. Our room was cleaned and bed made-up with fresh towels replaced on a daily basis.

Breakfast was provided in our package, and it's cooked-to-order. There's quite an interesting range of choices from your typical big American breakfast to something lighter such as pancakes or even simple croissant with ham & cheese. Coffee is freshly brewed. All-in-all, the cook did a great job with our food.. and it's nice to have table service occasionally compared to the usual buffet-style that most hotels/ resorts provide.

This is a nice place to stay - comfortable, clean and the staff is excellent. Close to a white, sandy beach and easy walking distance to some good restaurants. Quiet area, good for relaxing and getting away from the madness further south.

We stayed at Paragon Spa resort for 3 days and liked it a lot. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. We had breakfast included in the price which was good, made to order with good fresh coffee. The hotel is pretty but a little bit worn down. However it was kept very clean and everything felt fresh. No insects in the rooms. The beach right next to the hotel Is beautiful and we also liked that the hotel provided a pretty straw beach bag with towels and straw mats to use at the beach.

Les chambres sont spacieuses propres et tres confortables.
La plage est a 3 mns a pieds.
J ai vraiment adoré.

100 metres to the excellent beach but with a good sized pool on site if you want to be lazy.

Good breakfast included in room rate too so it is very easy to relax here. Although there are many great dining options within a short walk

Really lovely hotel. Only a few minutes walk from the beach. Only 7 rooms so never feels crowded. The spa centre is fantastic - best massages I have had in Thailand. The food is great. Fantastic pool.

I have stayed in many hotels over the years but never received such fantastic and personal service from a hotel. The host(Kay)is very attentive and nothing was ever an issue. The spa is stunning and you receive excellent service. The pool and dining area is stunning and great place to lounge around. The room was very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard everyday and WiFi works perfectly throughout the hotel. When we come back to koh phangan we won't even consider looking at any other hotel

Das Hotel ist Eigner-geführt, in der zweiten Reihe vom Strand (soll heißen man ist ca. 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand unterwegs). Das Essen ist hervorragend, hätte nicht gedacht dass eine kleine Hotelküche mit den vielen umliegenden Restaurants konkurrieren kann, aber ich hätte eigentlich am liebsten jeden Tag dort gegessen - nur meine Frau wollte mehr Abwechslung. Das ganze Hotelteam war sehr freundlich und bei jeder Frage und Bitte zur Hand. Bei der Spa-Abteilung könnnen wir vom Herzen die Deep-Thai Massage empfehlen. Die war Spitzenklasse und wir haben sie viele Male gebucht. Negativ waren eigentlich nur 2 Sachen: meine Frau mochte nicht mit Klimaanlage schlafen (das war vorher leider nicht ganz klar) und die Zimmer haben weder Moskitonetze, noch Ventilatoren. Auch ist es Nachts manchmal laut, weil z.B. die Pirate Bar laute Musik spielt. Das Problem haben jedoch auch die anderen Hotels und Bungalows an diesem Standabschnitt. Ein Freund von uns war 2 Ressorts weiter und hatte die Musik auch live bei sich im Bungalow. Für leichte Schläfer empfehlen sich auf jeden Fall Ohrenstöpsel.

We have spent a week here with my wife and we didn't regret our choice. The two owners, a couple and their staff provided an excellent service, helped us with our transfer and even with our scooter rent. They also have a great cuisine. The hotel is small and you feel like home. It is close to a nice, clean beach, but away from the crowd. If you wish to have a relaxing, worryfree stay, chose them!

Das Resort ist super gepflegt und sehr sauber. Die beiden Inhaber sind sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Sie helfen bei allem und geben sehr gute Tipps. Das Spa ist auch sehr gut. Das Essen wird selbst zubereitet und schmeckt köstlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sehr gut gepflegt. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen.
