Orka Lotus Beach

This is not a 5 star hotel. Maybe it was when it first opened but it clearly hasn’t been updated since. Everything is old, out dated or broken. The owner clearly cares more for his Lamborghini car than to update the facilities. The sun beds are disgustingly. They are old and broken and rusty. The umbrellas are all broken. The only good thing about this hotel was the pool with the slides and the life guards who managed the pool area. They were very pleasant and nice people. However the pool area itself was very dirty, it was not cleaned regularly and there was often empty cups and bottles lying around the floor or old plates next to sun beds which stayed there for days. I would not pay the money to stay in this hotel again. It is a 3/4 star hotel, there are nicer hotel star hotels in marmaris like Aurasia Beach, Deluxe and seaside. Disappointed to have paid so much and got so little for our money. We go to marmaris 3/4 times every year and we stay in different hotels all the time. This was the most disappointing.

This was our second time staying at Orka Lotus Beach Hotel, and this visit touched us in a way we didn’t expect. The hotel has always been beautiful, but this time the entertainment team made our holiday feel truly special — the kind of stay you remember long after you’re home.A huge thank you to Christina, Havinna, Yasin, Kwiz, Buky Beats, Borisrock, Leah, Pelin, Sena, Domdom, Caretta, Heaven, and Imam.Every single one of them brought so much warmth, joy, and genuine kindness to our days. They didn’t just entertain — they connected with us, made us laugh, made us feel welcome, and turned simple moments into memories.Leaving was honestly heartbreaking. We felt like we were saying goodbye to friends. That’s why we’re already planning to come back — because this team made our holiday unforgettable, and they’re the reason we keep returning. Location great for walking into Icmeler however location has very noisy clubbing music until 4:30am - so far this has been for 3 nights in a row - hoping its stops after the weekend. We travelled with children and still placed in a room near the club, you will need earplugs if you want to sleep between 10pm and 4:30am as very loud. Food in the main restaurant is delicious with lots of choice. Cocktail and drinks very good for all inclusive, lots of choice. Service has been very good at the bars and reception. Restaurant very busy from 7pm, tricky to get seats, cannot get a sun bed near the main pool as towels always reserve the beds very early, we ended up near kids pool which was a nice area. Hotel does need tlc to justify being 5 stars as many broken tiles around the pools and restaurants, cleanliness near pools not quite 5 star although staff always clearing up mess; our room was always very clean and mini bar topped up each day. Beach very busy and no room to kick a ball around or play games as it’s end to end with sun beds. Overall 3-4 stars and more adult friendly with the sun beds and clubbing music. Note they delete comments on their Facebook page so I would use trip advisor for accurate reviews.

Orka Lotus Beach is a wonderful hotel! Everything was excellent, from the food and the location to the cleanliness and the wide range of activities available.

A special thank you to the bar manager, Merve. She was always welcoming, friendly, attentive, and happy to help. She made us feel valued throughout our stay.

The à la carte restaurants were also fantastic, with a great variety including Ottoman, Chinese, Italian, and many more. Every restaurant was excellent. A special thank you to Chef Mehmet, who is in charge of the à la carte restaurants. He was welcoming, attentive, and efficient, and his professionalism made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The hotel was very clean, and there was always something to do. There was a huge variety of food, from the main restaurant and à la carte restaurants to the snack bars and dessert corner. There are also water parks and plenty of activities for children, making it a great destination for families.

We had an amazing holiday and would highly recommend Orka Lotus Beach. We can’t wait to come back!

Another amazing hotel. This was our third time and have booked to go back again in October. The staff here are absolutely amazing and nothing is too much trouble. They are kind, attentive and so friendly. We have made good friends here with them. This time we had our photos taken by the professional photographer Osman and his brother. What an experience! They were such good fun and so friendly, they were just great. The photos are of such high standard and would recommend them to anyone.
Can’t wait to go come back and will get some taken with my son and partner who will be joining us for their first visit!

During our stay at the Orka Lotus Beach Hotel, myself and my wife developed gastroenteritis after having dinner at hotel’s restaurant. During the night, she became very ill and vomited. The following day, we went to the hotel’s medical clinic because we were feeling very unwell and received medical treatment. It costs 70 pounds/person.
The most likely cause was the almost raw meat that was served in the dürüm.
Furthermore, the hotel staff did not seem concerned about the situation. We had to cover all the expenses ourselves, including the medical consultation and the medication.
I do not recommend this hotel at all. You risk getting sick by staying there.

3rd and last time of coming here.
The hotel is full of rude and angry Russians that think it’s ok to reserve all the sunbeds at 5am, the staff know this happens but they won’t do anything about it “ as Turkey as Russia are allies and best customers” ok then, so the rest of the world isn’t catered for?! The sunloungers in the water park are broken as are the tables ( if you can get one) , so much so we had to hire sunbeds on icon beach which is part of the hotel - at a minimum spend of £80!!! Icon is well worth a visit though for a treat, staff also work at the hotel and know exactly why we are there, food and drinks. So much nicer !!
Orka- no floats to use in water park as they had mainly popped, food was repetitive and meat so dry. A shoe would have tasted nicer!! Drinks are Massively watered down. Creepy men in icemeler that followed me and my 15 year old and wouldn’t leave us alone.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable and minibar was decent. Location wise is a
Small drive from marmaris or icmeler town , or you can walk 15-20’mins .music was so loud until about 3-4am we couldn’t sleep Fri/sat. Honestly there are much better places to stay. Shame as we loved it here before but won’t return

We are a young couple who have just returned from a fantastic stay at Orka Lotus Hotel, and we can honestly say we’ve had one of the best hotel holiday experiences we’ve ever had.

All of the staff were lovely and worked incredibly hard throughout our stay, but a special shout-out has to go to the entertainment team, especially Dom Dom, Haven, Leah, Imen, Yassin, and Caretta! They genuinely made our holiday and always went out of their way to make sure everyone was having fun. The entertainment team are some of the friendliest, funniest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met.

There were loads of activities throughout the day, including pool games, challenge games, cocktail-making competitions, table tennis, beach volleyball and gym / pilates style classes on the promenade. There was always something going on, and the entertainment team made everyone feel welcome to join in, whether you wanted to be active or just have a laugh.

The evening entertainment was honestly the best we’ve experienced at any hotel. The performers are so talented and the shows felt like something you would normally pay to go and see. Every night was different and gave us something to look forward to.

As a young couple, we were initially a little sceptical about whether there would be enough opportunities to stay out later in the evenings. However, we were pleasantly surprised. After the main entertainment finished, there was usually something going on afterwards in the Blue Bar, and the entertainment team often organised nights out with free transport to and from the venue. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to join any of these ourselves, but they always seemed popular and looked like great fun. It’s definitely a positive for younger couples or groups who want a bit of nightlife alongside the all-inclusive experience.

A special mention also goes to Icon Beach Tuesdays. This was one of our favourite parts of the holiday. It’s such a fun way to enjoy a beach club atmosphere without having to venture too far from the hotel. The DJ is brilliant, everyone gets up dancing, and the whole event has an amazing atmosphere.

The food and drinks were also pretty good. There was always something for us to eat and plenty of variety throughout the day. We often stayed by the snack bar at lunchtime and really enjoyed the pizza there, and the waffles were great too. The cocktails were good with lots of choice, and as iced latte lovers we were very happy that the hotel served iced lattes too! The à la carte restaurants were definitely worth visiting and we enjoyed those the most. The buffet could be a little hectic at busy times, but that’s to be expected during peak season.

The only real negative we found was that the bathroom drain often had quite a strong smell, which we would usually notice when walking into the room. It wasn’t enough to spoil our holiday, but it was the one issue we experienced during our stay.

Sunbeds do get reserved quite early at the main pool and beach, but if you’re an early riser you’ll have no issues at all.

Overall, we had an amazing holiday and would happily recommend Orka Lotus Hotel, especially to young couples looking for a fun all-inclusive holiday with great entertainment. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special. <3

The entertainment team made the holiday extra special. They are really inclusive to everyone and super friendly. The food and drink is amazing everyday. They have special meat every evening. I played the darts everyday with carreta and he was so lovely. It would be nice to see him again here next year. I have been to orca every year for the past 8 years and this year was by far the best entertainment there has been. Heavin was also so lovely to me , she is also make the experience much better.
