Good location and very helpful staff.
Pros:

Reception staff were excellent - very helpful - recommended restaurants and helped with trips. Room lovely and very traditional. Breakfast was very good and staff helpful.

Cons:

The lift, while functional, was a bit temperamental and made some dodgy noises. Hot water in shower a bit hit and miss.

The front office manager was rude and refused to move our rooms from the ground floor which was noisy as right next to r

We were given 2 bad rooms on the ground floor near reception. It was noisy and when I asked staff to change the rooms I was ignored and told they were fully booked, yet they obviously weren’t as I could book rooms for those days online.
