Chalten Suites Hotel

Muy buena atencion. Desayuno muy completo y ubiacion excelente.

Hotel central placed for easy walk to bars and restaurants. Weather was beautiful, but nowhere to sit outside. Breakfast standard, evening meal was good. Some very good restaurants near by.

Rooms a bit bland but clean and comfortable. Staff helpful, laundry inexpensive and returned with a few hours. Parking on side of road but not a problem.

The hotel is very beautiful but the service is not good at all. Our first night there we went to the restaurant at 22:30 (closes at 23hrs). We asked two times if kitchen was still open, first at reception and then in the restaurant itself. They told us that we could sit and eat, so that's what we did. But one of the waitresses kept complaining out loud that they have to serve another table, she called us "crazy people" because we arrived at that time. We knew that it was late and that's why we asked two times if we could eat at the restaurant anyway. It was very disrespectful. I think she thought we didn't speak Spanish and that she could talk about us out loud without us noticing.
Another thing was that when they cleaned up our room in the morning, they didn't refill the toilet paper, so at the end of that day we ran out of it. Also they refilled the body wash only with water, but we asked them to refill it with real soap and one of the girls from reception did it and she was very nice and apologised (the only one who seems to care).
Another think that I didn't like was that you have to tell the reception at what time you want to have breakfast, and even when we did and we were there on time, they told us that there were no place to have breakfast and that we would have to came back later. Why would they ask for you to let them know what time you're going to have breakfast if still you won't have a place to sit?
In addition to all that, the hotel itself is very noisy. You can hear people in the next room talking, sniffing, coughing and also we could hear a constant noise every day that woke you up at any time at night. We complained about this and the only answer from one of the receptionists was that she couldn't hear anything, and that she would look into it and let us know, but obviously she did nothing, not even apologizing.
So definitely I wouldn't come back.

It a bit pricy but it s a great accommodation, very comfortable especially after a trek in the mountains!

O quarto era bom, super espaçoso,m, tinha elevador e a localização é a cerca de 1km do início da maioria das trilhas. Jantamos no restaurante do hotel no réveillon e foi ótimo.

The room was clean and very big and had a balcony. Views from the dining room were nice before morning hikes.

Not much around in this tiny town. This hotel is quite old and needs major updating but the staff try very helpful and are really lovely kind! The breakfast is all fresh and nicely prepared. The room was clean but no regulation of temperature and it was boiling hot. We kept our door open for a while to get air. Towels scratchy and not enough. However bed was made daily and that was a welcome after a day of hiking.
If you need a place to crash and nothing more it does the trick.

Great location, clean, friendly staff, early check-in, options for boxed lunch, good size room and having a terrace was a big plus.

We didn’t actually stay the night at the property, but it looked like a very beautiful hotel. We could not stay the night because they were closing the road at midnight for the next day due to high winds and we had to leave to catch a plane in the morning, The hotel staff was very nice about canceling the reservation free of charge even though it was the same day. Fortunately, they were easily able to rent our room to another group who had to come a day early because of the road closure so it all worked out well for everyone!

This hotel is perfectly fine. It has four stars, and that rating feels appropriate. The restaurant is good, the breakfast is decent, the staff is helpful, and the rooms are comfortable. The location is right in the center of town. Nothing exceptional, but everything is completely satisfactory.
