We really liked the size of our room.
Daniella on reception was very informative about where to hike for the best views.
The food and restaurant staff were very good
The restaurant closed for two nights
The hotel is very clean and quiet, ideal for good night rest after some intense hike. Perfectly located in the town’s main street (where all the restaurants and shops are concentrated).
Above all, I really appreciate the staff! All of them were so nice and attentive. One day I got a flue and the staff was so much caring and looking after me, they even brought me some food at the room as I wasn’t able to go to the breakfast.
Ubicación perfecta
Dans l’ensemble bien, chambre confortable. situation centrale.bureau pour excursion…petit déjeuner complet correct.
Un peu bruyant coté rue principale.
The hotel is good but some people who work there are extremely not helpful and rude. They seem very annoyed when you ask them a question or need something. My room was cold and the front desk was annoyed for me asking for a heater. The other lady Romona at the breakfast took 5 business days to bring mayonase. I asked her if she could please bring one. She brought it at the end of my meal when i was eating dessert. I came up to her to remind her thinking she forgot she said im busy and was laughing with her other coworker.
Fantastic, helpful staff. Huge breakfast and delicious onsite restaurant. Great location in the middle of town. Clean, large rooms with ameneties. Highly recommend if you go to El Chalten!
We loved everything, from the staff to the room.
The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to restaurants and hiking trails.
Insulation of the rooms could be better.
The coffee available in the room is not great.
La ubicación, la vista desde la habitación, el restaurante, el desayuno muy completo y excelente calidad y variedad, atención del personal.
The breakfast was excellent. The bedroom was very comfortable with a variety of different pillows. A beautiful view in the breakfast room. Friendly staff.
The water temperature was not warm enough.
Great included breakfast, close to restaurants. Staff helpful. Bed was very comfortable.
Location
Breakfast arraingment could be better
What a great hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff who gave us maps and tips for which treks to do. Room was a good size with very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a small fridge and kettle in the room. Breakfast was reasonable - a small buffet selection with all the usual items. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent - we ate there 2 nights - delicious food and wine at a good price. Bonus was the laundry service - a small bag of items returned within a few hours for 20,000 pesos.
The room was a little stuffy and as we were on the ground floor we didn’t want to leave the window open at night.
This was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed in during our trip round Argentina, but seemed to be good value compared to other options in El Chaltén.
Muy buena atencion. Desayuno muy completo y ubiacion excelente.
Hotel central placed for easy walk to bars and restaurants. Weather was beautiful, but nowhere to sit outside. Breakfast standard, evening meal was good. Some very good restaurants near by.
Rooms a bit bland but clean and comfortable. Staff helpful, laundry inexpensive and returned with a few hours. Parking on side of road but not a problem.
Inconveniente.
The hotel is very beautiful but the service is not good at all. Our first night there we went to the restaurant at 22:30 (closes at 23hrs). We asked two times if kitchen was still open, first at reception and then in the restaurant itself. They told us that we could sit and eat, so that's what we did. But one of the waitresses kept complaining out loud that they have to serve another table, she called us "crazy people" because we arrived at that time. We knew that it was late and that's why we asked two times if we could eat at the restaurant anyway. It was very disrespectful. I think she thought we didn't speak Spanish and that she could talk about us out loud without us noticing.
Another thing was that when they cleaned up our room in the morning, they didn't refill the toilet paper, so at the end of that day we ran out of it. Also they refilled the body wash only with water, but we asked them to refill it with real soap and one of the girls from reception did it and she was very nice and apologised (the only one who seems to care).
Another think that I didn't like was that you have to tell the reception at what time you want to have breakfast, and even when we did and we were there on time, they told us that there were no place to have breakfast and that we would have to came back later. Why would they ask for you to let them know what time you're going to have breakfast if still you won't have a place to sit?
In addition to all that, the hotel itself is very noisy. You can hear people in the next room talking, sniffing, coughing and also we could hear a constant noise every day that woke you up at any time at night. We complained about this and the only answer from one of the receptionists was that she couldn't hear anything, and that she would look into it and let us know, but obviously she did nothing, not even apologizing.
So definitely I wouldn't come back.
