Pros:

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns auf die "The Outpost Lodge" umquartiert: In ein Zimmer mit Balkon, das mehr Privatsphäre bot, als the Trailhead Lodge (Die Zimmer der Trailhead Lodge haben nur ein Fenster zum Parkplatz und bieten dadurch keinerlei Privatsphäre, es sei denn man zieht den blickdichten Vorhang zu.)

Eine preisliche Anpassung auf die eigentlich günstigere, weil einfachere "The Outpost Lodge" wurde aber nicht gewährt.

Cons:

Wir sind einen Tag früher als gebucht abgereist, da das sehr chlorhaltige Wasser starke Hautreizungen verursachte. Ein kulantes Entgegenkommen gab es nicht und 100% Storno musste gezahlt werden.

The price was extortionate. I expected a large luxurious hotel. This is basically a motel. Tiny bathroom.

It was nice. The only problem was the window. TV had water dripping from air conditioning onto it. The TV wouldn’t turn

We had a great time and would return again!
Pros:

We had a great experience and enjoyed the proximity to Estes Lake and downtown Estes Park. We were able to enter into RMNP in less than 15 minutes and it made for a perfect place at the end of long days hiking and rafting.

Cons:

My only complaint was that we had very loud guests above us, and it sounded like they were tearing down the room above us. Nothing that the hotel staff could change, but since it is a renovated motel, the walls/floors are thin.

Great location, but missing expected amenities like a microwave in the room or any sort of breakfast
Pros:

The room was spacious.

Cons:

No microwave in the room or continental breakfast available at all. The hidden $150 fee with $25/day amenities fee for smores and the pool were an unexpected and unwelcome charge. I did not use either.

Cons:

Probably one of the worst stays ever. Room was dirty: you could see spots from glasses on tables, floor was not vacuumed or washed. Terrible mattress, so soft you fall into it and then they have hard big pillows. Walls are paper thin you can hear every conversation in rooms that are surrounding your room.

room had NO heat and was very cold as the location is in the mountains of Colorado! NO open restaurant or breakfast available at property as advertised.

Disappointed
Pros:

Staff at check in were missing as they were cleaning the rooms for check in. We waited an hour to get our room. Window vents for ac, loud and smelly. The door in the bathroom was rotting from the water that was collecting from drainage issues. The comforter smelled old and there was a blanket on the bed that only covered our feet. None in the closet. This motel at best was a 1950’s Road side motel upgraded on the cheap. The price for our stay was not cheap. Stay at the Stanley as thats where we spent most of our free time in the evenings. Very disappointed.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would go back.
Pros:

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They had a great fire pit and provided materials to make s’mores! The restaurant had a great breakfast and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

There was only one light switch that controlled all of the lights in the room. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. There were pigeon droppings all over the stairway to get to our room.
