We had a good time. I hate that the shops around the hotel close so early.
Pros:

The historic aspect of the hotel.

Cons:

The air conditioning vents in the room. It was hard to control and it blew right on you in the bed.

Relaxing, easy and just what we needed after a long day of driving.
Pros:

We've been to this hotel a couple of times before and always look forward to our stays. The hotel is lovely and so comfortable. I always get a good night's sleep there, which is rare at other hotels. The staff is welcoming and professional.

Cons:

The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to add a space for exercise. Even a small room with a treadmill and free weights would be helpful.

Pros:

One night stay but thoroughly enjoyed it. Rooftop bar was great, restaurant bar was average. Did not eat at hotel as other places very close by. Parking is adequate but more handicapped spaces would be nice

Pros:

Front desk staff super friendly and helpful. Room was average. Found some trash behind a chair. Not alot of trash, but like receipts and price tags of items. Breakfast was simple, but good. Appreciated all the information about the hotel and its association with the former first lady.

Pros:

Convenient parking
Walk through town without getting back in the car
Comfortable mattress, linens
Rooftop and it's bartender were exceptional

Cons:

Oriiginally placed in a room on the first floor exposed to noise in the lobby. Cudos to clerk who moved us upstairs when we sked if other rooms were avaiable.

A great stay at a historic town, neat old building in the middle of several wine tasting farms.
Pros:

We liked the location and the historic information in the lobby. The restaurant was good, not fancy. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were great and very professional.

Cons:

The bed sounded like it was about to break, and made loud noise every time you turned. It was hard to sleep, wondered if I would wake on the floor in the middle of the night. THe faucets in the sink gave very little water, so had to go to the bath to wash hands etc.

Pros:

It is a lovely quaint hotel. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was an ADA compliant room which served me very well, especially since I didn't request one. I got lucky! The included Breakfast hit the spot with a variety of food being offered.

Cons:

The coffee pot was broken so there was none to accompany breakfast. I would have thought there'd be a backup plan for such a special hotel.

Great 1 night stay. The Log Cabin was a good restaurant within walking distance.
Pros:

Beautiful property in a beautiful area of Virginia. The view from the rooftop restaurant was fantastic.

Cons:

I enjoyed all of the property.
