Magnifique séjour j’ai couché 2 nuits.
Pros:

J’ai adoré l’établissement vraiment un beau cachet. Les chambres sont superbes. Le lit était très confortable.

Cons:

Le bruit à l’extérieur mais c’est normal se sont de vieux bâtiments . Cela ne m’a pas empêché de passer un beau moment dans ma chambre. Je recommande et c’est certain que je vais y retourner.

Cozy room, but prefer humans to contactless
Pros:

Our room was very cute and cozy, and being on the top floor was fairly quiet. The decor was nice. I liked the boot/slipper cubbies in the foyer (it seemed optional, but it was helpful not to deal with slushy boots in our room—bring slippers!). The location was great- a historic block in the middle of everything.

Cons:

The virtual/contactless reception and self-check-in were not my cup of tea. I thought it made the common areas feel weird and not particularly welcoming. We weren’t the only ones who could have used some help settling in. There was an error with our room code, and we met other guests who were confused about how things worked, including a couple who couldn’t figure out which room was theirs, so tried ours until I opened the door.
I know the endless slush and snow make it hard, but the foyer area was dingy.
The Wi-Fi on the 4th floor was weak, so I wound up using my hotspot.

Le surclassement nous a mieux fait apprécié notre séjour et surtout le prix.
Pros:

L’emplacement
Le salon au rdc.
Le parking à l’arrière de l’hôtel.

Cons:

La première chambre était en cours de rénovation et n’avait pas été nettoyé. Heureusement que nous avons été surclassé sans frais additionnel. Le tapis de la chambre avait plusieurs taches. Nous n’avons jamais circulé sans pantoufles.

Great location and charm, but inconsistent service impacted our stay.
Pros:

From the moment we entered the property, we loved the overall vibe. The traditional design of the place really stood out and gave it a unique charm.

The staff were very helpful, especially with our luggage. They assisted us in bringing everything up to the 4th floor, which we truly appreciated. Moreover, they respond almost immediately when we message them about our concerns and questions.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The design felt chic and vintage, adding to the overall character of the stay.

The location is amazing! It’s within walking distance of nearby restaurants and most attractions. In fact, I’d say it has one of the best hotel locations in the area. That was one of the main reasons we chose to book this place, especially considering the reasonable cost.

Cons:

There was a lack of coffee refills during our stay. One morning, I went to the 3rd floor to get a refill, but it was empty. The staff responded right away when we informed them, which we appreciated. However, it took quite a while for the refills to arrive, and we ended up starting our day later than planned.

Another inconvenience was the absence of a kettle in the room. The only option available was the coffee machine, which isn’t ideal if you want to prepare tea, ramen, or oatmeal. We had to use hot water from the coffee machine instead, which wasn’t very convenient.

Regarding the amenities, the shampoo (which includes conditioner) didn’t work well for me. It left my hair feeling dry and tangled.

Lastly, since there is no elevator, we needed assistance bringing our luggage downstairs. Unfortunately, the staff member who helped us seemed unwilling and did not greet us. Her body language made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. I even helped carry some of the luggage because I felt uncomfortable asking for more help, despite recently recovering from a muscle sprain. Afterward, she walked away without acknowledgment when I tried to thank her.

It’s unfortunate because other staff members we encountered especially those who helped us on our first day were very kind and accommodating. I hope the hotel can provide more consistent service across all staff members.

Le personnel était absent à mon arrivée. Le plancher était froid. Il y avait du bruit dehors à l'arrière. L'écran de télé un peu petit mais acceptable.

LESS than meets the eye
Pros:

I was freezing all night. No extra blankets provided in the room.
Hydromassage bath was broken... Stunning decor, darkening shades and curtains were a game changer! Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Toilet paper is thinner than a silk sheet used for wrapping gifts. We had to go out to buy a bottle opener for our hydromel even though wine glasses are provided…
There was a miscommunication and the staff wasn’t aware we were checking in early. Someone walked in on us in our underwear! And she just stayed there and kept justifying herself instead of leaving. I know my man’s hot but get the f out esti.
