La Chan Cabanita

Had the best stay At La Chan Cabanita , Was so relieved when I saw that most of the other Hotels have non stop music ... This hotel is charming , right on the beach they have a great little bar , everybody that works there are nice , its a bicycle ride to all the delicious restaurant there is a really fun lunch place right next to it And they have great massage . Very grateful to have stayed there !

Es un lugar increible muy bien cuidado y con excelente atencion. Solo recomendaria dejar funcionar los ventiladores hasta las 10 am ya que a partir de las 7 que los apagan eñ calor es fuerte

Sabemos el concepto del hotel, pero no se cumplieron nuestras expectativas. La habitación realmente no era confortable y para colmo la lluvia traspasó el techo de palma. La lluvia entró por las ventanas.

This is a no frills but beautiful place. I loved seeing the sunrise over the beach from my bed. I recommend an ocean view room. The breakfast included lots of fresh fruit, toast, and coffee.

They cancelled our accommodations 2 weeks before but we were glad they canceled on us, we stayed at at Nueva Vida de Ramiero which was great!

Amazing experience. Loved the staff. So flexible, caring and easy to work with. Nustic and comfortable. Not pretentious. No outlets though so unplugged is the name of the game. Unbelievable view! I'd go back every time.

Right on the beach, nice room with sea view. A bit primitive. No wall plugs other than USB. Hot water in shower did not work. Terrible WiFi. Nice beach bar right by "our" beach. Nice staff.

We had a great time in an ideal location, great food just a quick walk down the beach in either direction. I think this location was the nicest along the whole beach, rooms were very comfortable. WiFi was not very good but I didn't come here to surf my computer, just the waves. the provided breakfast was perfect. I would stay here again.

The place was just fine but you guys (Hotel.com) blew it. When my girlfriend and i arrived at the hotel they had NO reservation for us. The usually lade that speaks English was not there so i had to break out my minimal Espanol to the only guy working there. Thankfully he had one room left for us in the way back next to the road (and not on the beach like we booked on this site). I had to pay cash in hand and the room ended up being pretty hot because there is obviously no A/C in Tulum and that's why i booked the cabana on the beach, for the breeze. So all in all, the hotel was fine but i am upset with Hotels.com for screwing up my reservation or in this case, not even making one for me.

Hotel did not have our reservation upon arrival.
Also, our Best Day Transport was booked for wrong date. Best day still accommodated us. Charged more than website advertised, but a least we got there in comfort. Expedia/BD has already refunded fee.
In fairness to Expedia, the hotel and transport was booked less than 24 hours in advance.
I didn't realize we had to send a deposit directly to hotel when the the booking from Expedia indicated confirmed.
LaChon looks like a very nice back to basic hotel with a nice garden and very nice staff trying to help the situation. Right on the beach.

Endroit magnifique, l'hotel est idealement situé, simple et le service de qualite et le personnel serviable est gentil. L'hotel repose sur le principe d'une reduction des conso d'electricite (ecolo) un faible eclairage dans la chambre, pas de prises, pas de climatisation.
