The room was not really proper. Mostly sanitary area, but I think this was because of very old and no more up to date equipment.
Location
Friendly staff
Room was a little small
Location. comfortable bed
Better lighting in the room and extra electric lighting by my bed. Also facility to plug in mobile charger.
The room was absolutely appalling and did not meet the health and safety standards. Firstly the switch for the bed side light had been pushed inside the bed head and anyone with a small finger may have been subject to a electrical shock.
Secondly there was a door panel from the sliding door on the shower missing and during shower time water was going on the floor outside, which is not acceptable. When I made the complaint, I was told there was a shower curtain that could have been drawn to avoid this, how the hell this was supposed to stop the water coming out the missing panel I don't know.
On the final morning there was only one towel for two to shower people which I don't think is very hygienic, thus we left without showering and showered when we got home.
I have taken photographs of everything as there could quite easy have been a serious incident and I will forward to a higher authority as nobody appeared too worried about it at reception when checking out.
I know that this is a budget hotel, however, this is totally unacceptable as a breach of health and safety regulations were clearly evident. As far as I am concerned, it appears your policy is revenue before safety regulations and the room should not have been let out in this state.
My wife and I were celebrating our 58th wedding anniversary and this took the shine of the occasion.

The room I stayed in has a weird smell - Room 410
Many things in the room were broken. Including the light switch above the bed which had been pushed into the wall socket and the flush on the toilet.
