Herdade Moita Mar - Country & Sea

Lovely rural property with a five minute drive to the nearest beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a fairly basic menu but everything I ordered was tasty and great value. Highly recommended for a calm and quiet stay.

Sitio calmo muito bom para crianças, com bastante espaço, piscina boa ,quarto razoável( sugeria ar condicionado), mas no geral gostei muito.

Tolles Gelände, angenehmer Service und vor allem vollkommen entspannt und ruhig.

Maravilhoso para descanso. Paz. Localização em fazenda. Atendimento super eficaz, funcionários dedicados e atenciosos, confortável. Gostei muito e fica próximo à bela praia de Almograve.

Uma agradável surpresa! Desde a excepcional recepção das simpatiquíssimas funcionárias até ao pormenor do fenomenal serviço. A área envolvente está projectada de forma irrepreensível e de uma beleza que só visto! Tive pena de não ficar mais dias, mas prometo lá voltar muitas mais vezes.

Mooi zwembad, goed ontbijt, leuke activiteiten op het terrein. 5-10 minuten rijden naar VNdMilfontes waar leuke restaurants en cafés zijn.
Badkamer functioneel maar mag een update hebben. Aanvulling van shampoo en doucheschuim moest om gevraagd worden.
WiFi werkte buiten de kamer prima.

Hôtel calme, au vert, proche de la mer, de la rivière et d'une ville très agréable "Villa Nova de Milfontes". Les chambres confortables sont dans des petites maisons typiques, entourées de verdure, de petits étangs avec des canards. Piscine agréable, petit-déjeuner buffet copieux, terrasse, hamacs, chaises longues. Il faut avoir une voiture pour aller en ville et à la plage.

Hotel muy tranquilo, el enclave ideal para relajarse y disfrutar. Los desayunos son completos y de calidad. El personal amable y atento.

We stayed 3 days at the Hotel Rural Moita Mar and were very happy with the experience and service received.
The hotel is a set of outbuildings converted nicely into guest accommodation. As we arrived the receptionist showed us around the site which included a small pond with rowing boats, breakfast/dinning room, common TV room, swimming pool area with deck chairs, grass area with pine trees with hanging hammocks, from were we looked at the stars at night, I believe we saw a very BIG bright Venus and a tiny Jupiter, but I digress.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with double bed and baby cot as requested, mini bar, tea making facilities, as well as a complimentary bottle of water on arrival. The room lacked a landline which is a downside for me but probably not an issue for most.

The continental breakfast had a good selection of food, which included a freshly baked cake every morning.

Dinner was available (on request) most nights, expect on Wednesdays were they offered a light meal option. The meals were tasty and LARGE (one portion is definitely enough for 2 people). This service was invaluable as we had a baby with us and going out for meals at night would have been inconvenient.

Being so close to the coast there was always a pleasant breeze from the sea that provided cooling from the sweltering temperatures of Alentejo.

In summary we were very happy and will be booking again.

We were surprised to find out how good the service was and how they made sure that customers enjoy. Stuff and breakfast were really good and you get bicycles, rowing boat (for little pond), outdoor games, candles in the room, very nice common area with "honesty bar", etc... So lot of nice little details.
