Without any notes they canceled our room we were on the airplane we paid 100/0 payment the hotel, teretwhich treated us likeBugatti’s

The staff was helpful and helped me. My room was well appointed and clean. Could not ask for a better visit.

1. Not prepared for my arrival(this wasn’t as consequential, but still significant)
2. Non-smoking rooms filled completely with smell of cigarette smoke. Impossible to breathe. Had to change rooms a couple of times. Eventually got me a “non-smoking” room that was half the size of the room I paid for. Tried to convince me it was the room I paid for lol. I was exhausted at this point. *Gets worse*
3. Doesn’t accept international cards for meals and you cannot charge against the room. You have to pay for all meals at the hotel by cash(*warning for international travelers*)
4. Water was not hot. Had to shower with cold water.
5. Vent was as loud as a generator. Couldn’t sleep! Couldn’t switch off!
6. And that smell!! That smell!!!
I’ve had bad experiences in hotels but this had to be the worst experience ever. Couldn’t wait till the morning to run(literally run) from this hotel. Tread carefully.

First the air condition was not working, so the room was hot. Then they had almost nothing con their menu,I ordered turkey and ended up being food poisoned so my whole trip was canceled that I had to go back home to my country. I don’t recommend this so called 5 star hotel

Amazing & gentle

Summerset Continental is my home away from home. Clean, aesthetically pleasing and all around friendly place to be.

Rooms on ground completely different from the pictures online. More of misrepresentation of the real product/deceit. Felt disappointed! Secondly, booked room for 2 but complimentary breakfast was for one. AC was not effective.

This is my home away from home. The staff make me feel welcome every time I return.its undergoing a renovation that seem to take too long.
I love the quite convenient and nice ambiance.

Nice hotel from the outside, but i found the room really average for the money charged. I searched for just a socket to charge my phone and found only one in an awkward place. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was probably my favourite, however shower mixer was constantly running hot water and i struggled to find a safe balance to enjoy my bath.

The hotel is old and maintenance is very poor. The picture on the internet is far far different from the reality. The carpet in the room and walk ways/staircase oozes out very uncomfortable odour.
Staff were quite friendly though. Peace and Chioma stood out!

It's a lovely hotel. Very clean and guest friendly. The food was superb.

Modern hotel amenities with a solid hotel staff. Some paneling in hotel was deteriorating but my room was and up to date. I was very happy with this short notice hotel stay. Room 112 needs the drain in shower fixed. It drains to slow and may overflow in bathroom.

Hotel location is fine.
It is obvious that it had seen better days - the room was not properly maintained; the mattress was worn down and uncomfortable, the bathroom was in poor condition - the sink leaked water due to rusted piping, shower was squirting water all over.
Breakfast is quite poor and the service is as slow as it can be.
In addition I was told my reservation was canceled upon my arrival even though I showed the email from the site regarding arrival date change.

Overall a quite awful stay, I have no intention to return and suggest others to pass.

My children & I stayed about 15days at the Somerset over Xmas. Hotel is in the high brow area of Maitama, Abuja. Excellent facilities with restoration work on going in some rooms. Courteous & friendly staff all round. Only complaint is restaurant service slow on some days.

Das Hotel hat eine schöne Ausstattung und das Zimmer war geräumig. Allerdings war der Service sehr unaufmerksam. Das Wasser im Pool war wenig einladend. Der Standard des Hotels ist allenfalls Mittelklasse, der Preis allerdings hoch. Es gibt in Abuja für das gleiche Geld sehr viel bessere Hotels. Würde hier nicht noch einmal buchen.

It was nothing out of the ordinary. Nice location but service not as much as the value placed on it. The TV was not clear and there was no mini bar.
