Lovely independent motel in a convenient location
Pros:

Owner was friendly, gave some good recommendations for dinner, and make after-hours check-in EXTREMELY easy. Our room got upgraded to a nice ground-level one with a back door to a really lovely garden with picnic table and some nice plants. Bathroom was well appointed with air freshener plus nice toilet paper and tissues. Bed was really comfortable with a large mix of soft and firm pillows, all of REALLY nice quality.

Cons:

Room might have been ventilated better - CO2 levels spiked unusually high overnight.

Cute and simple stay near lots of land and sea recreation with easy access to everything.
Pros:

Small establishment without the formal hotel feeling. Personal and good communication regarding our expected arrival time. Very well kept and clean for being an older building. We appreciated bedding that wasn't white provided a more homey feeling. No issues being next to the airstrip as it's infrequently used and never at night, though we would have had a front row seat to watch a landing or take off from the back patio. The beach is within walking distance over the river bridge.
