Was informed that we needed to pay $5.00 to park in a non secured car park which was open to the general public, shower was designed for shorter people and kept hitting our heads on the shower rose, cleanliness of the bedding not acceptable

A check in staff was very efficient and friednly.
Pros:

Location. Just off highway. I drove 7 minutes to near by town for late dinner after check in. It was convenient.

Cons:

A fridge in my room wasn’t working. A friendly staff looked into it, it worked for a little while but stopped working again next morning. I was in a hurry to check out so I didn't report that but otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

Convenient, clean, good features for the economy traveller wanting privacy.
Pros:

The fridge had the most effective freezer compartment we have ever experienced in a hotel/motel! It rechilled our esky bricks brilliantly. Many thanks. We have used IBIS Budget elsewhere before and find them excellent value for money - clean, all the right features, including sufficient power points and hanging space.

Cons:

I admit I found it hard to "pull up the duvet" to my neck - it was so tightly tucked in!
