Phetnamneung Resort

The staff here was wonderful, tried their best to speak enough English to help us.
The resort is kind of close to the ocean, short walk. The beds were hard, sofa to low to sit on comfortable, no hot water in bathroom sink, wholes in shower walls, vent open so spiders,and lizards came in. Sewer smell after using shower
The pool was good and clean. No phone and no English tv.
A stream that surrounds the resort is dirty and smells.

The staff at this resort was very nice and tried their best.
Sorry to say we checked out early for several reasons.
There was no real place to eat breakfast except outside on a table at each cabin, so the food was usually cold when it arrived, only instant coffee available.
No hot water in the bathroom sink, holes in the shower wall, bathroom vent open and spiders & geckos came in. No telephones, no English t.v., no chairs only a couch that was so low you had a hard time getting up. Terrible sewer smell in the bathroom and a dirty river surround the resort.

Overall it was great! When we checked in they were kind and friendly. We had a nice little bungalow, the only problem being the toilet and drainage there was a smell. Otherwise they brought us breakfast each morning which was a nice touch!

Breakfast is okay, come with fresh OJ. The hotel is currently under construction. We originally booked the four star hotel next door but we messed up with the booking. So we ended up with this hotel which is the close by. Not too bad compare to what you paid for. You need to have your own car as the hotel is far from everything.

This is were we spent our honeymoon and it was amazing! There is so much to do in the area and to visit. We stayed in a private hut with our own balcony and bathroom. The Lady at reception was very nice to us and brought breakfast every morning. We didn't stay all day in the room because we wanted to visit other locations in Cha-am and Huan Hin. There is so much to visit that a week was not enough. You will definitely have to travel to Praya Nakon cave and Monkey Island, breath taking views. You will need to take a taxi to travel around the area, best to ask the reception and they will bring someone. At lunch time and dinner we always went to Factory Outlet to eat at Suzette, they make the best food with cool presentation! The shopping centre/mall is 10 minutes away in Huan Hin.
