Best hidden gem in Bangkok
Pros:

U Tiny Boutique Hotel is a quiet, off the beaten path place with beautiful pool and grounds. The owners and staff are delightful, kind and service oriented. We had the best time playing cards, enjoying wonderful meals and good laughs with owners.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and we would be flying in and out of Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport twice during our Thailand visit. I booked for 2 nights when we came into Bangkok and 1 night for when we were flying out of Bangkok (we spent the week in another part of Thailand).

To say it did not disappoint is an understatement. Lovely people, small quaint space to relax, cute resident cat.

Quiet. Nothing around. Eating at hotel only option without getting a ride. Nothing walkable. Very pleasant with nice pool. Perfect for layovers.

Warm and hospitable, close to airport
Pros:

We have stayed here many times and, although they’ve curtailed some of the services (eg airport transfer) from when they first opened, the level of hospitality was warm, if not warmer than our early visits. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the person who registers us but she always recognizes us when we return, is super friendly, and thanks us for remembering their establishment. As always, everyone there helps us with our heavy luggage. We used the swimming pool too.

Hard to believe this place had such a high rating. It’s literally between the middle of nowhere & nowhere. Even the grab drivers can’t find the place. The bed is like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Not to mention on checking out they wanted to collect 300 Bhat for some blood spots on the towel. On a positive note it was quite clean and the staff was helpful with carrying our luggage.

It's a small hotel; it's near the road, so it's quite loud. The taxi driver had a difficult time finding the location. In addition to that, I ordered room service that never arrived.

The walls are the typical one brick, asian style, so you can hear guests moving and talking above you, below you, and next to you.

It was certainly built to maximize profit, not for the comfort of the guests.

Very quiet Thai style botuque hotel. Its in a small patch of woods, which is nice for Bangkok. Not very far from Suvarnabhumi. The staff here are very friendly and helpful

Lovely little hotel which was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and crisp white bed linen.

Great for an airport stopover but nothing to do around there which didn’t bother me.

Problem with the power in the room which cut out every few minutes meaning that air con and shower were not great.

I didn’t challenge it as I was only there for one night - in room 326 - hopefully they will get it fixed.

My husband and i stayed here right before our flight to Phuket. It was clean and easy to get to once we landed in Bangkok, about 20min drive w a taxi When we left for our flight to Phuket it surprisingly took us an hour. This was due to the weather (heavy rain), traffic due to the rain and roads with big pot holes. Just something to keep in mind if you would like to stay here during rainy season. Otherwise staff was great and very accommodating, the room was very clean and comfortable.

Delightful, helpful staff, a lovely pool, very quiet and comfortable rooms and just a short ride from the airport. We came and left in the very early morning hours, so took taxis (not the shuttle), but they weren’t expensive and the airport return was arranged by the hotel. It isn’t in a walkable neighborhood, but was a great oasis for our extended day visit to Bangkok, while wanting to stay close to the airport. It was ideal!
