The location of the hotel was good; close to the old town and the beach.
The breakfast buffet was good and the size of the room was good, except the bathroom which was shockingly small!
Also the room was very clean.
Our biggest issue was the behaviour of the staff. They were not welcoming at all and very unfriendly.
The holiday experience starts from the moment you get into the hotel and you see a smile! The hotel facilities are ok even if they are old, a bit pricey as well.
If the staff was smiling, welcoming and tried to help us when we asked so, the whole experience would be different. (the only exception was the cleaning lady who was really polite)
They were doing renovations at 8am on a Saturday, we never had a good morning, they have not wished us a safe trip or asked if we enjoyed our hols....basic stuff for the hospitality sector...
We know that Cyprus has a lot of tourists and the locals do not really care, but it is a big shame.

The location was right in the city centre...walking distance to the seafront et al. You could also take a bus to the airport from the front of the hotel. Beautiful centre....
The tap water was smelly. No sign anywhere stating the water us undrinkable....i was informed after i complained....the woman at reception was unfriendly....just horrible....she was the one during dinner...the shower pressure was off...outdoors was far better than indoors.....
