service was great! i did not try the restaurant this time because i visit restaurant i. december and food was not good nor was the service.

Beautiful hotel, amazing location, beds and pillows to die for.

Service .... 7 out of of 10 .... The only reason I didn't give this a perfect 10 out of 10 is because on arrival with our rental car from Guadalajara we were treated rudely by the hotel security guard. We arrived on Friday April 10 around 4 pm ... It was our first time in Tequila and at this hotel. There really isn't a huge drive way for cars so I pulled up like ANYONE would pull in to a parking space ... and the security guard (he was dressed in black and NOT the hotel bellman) didn't greet us with a smile or hello are you checking in ? .. instead he said "HEY TURN THE CAR AROUND" .. and since I am 100% fluent in Spanish and from Central America ... I sternly told the security guard to WATCH his tone ...We are checking in, to relax and I would do it ...

But that's how you greet guest who don't know that cars are suppose to face out ???
Maybe hotel management should TRAIN the security guards to greet guest in a more proper and professional manner !!!!!!

As for service of the rest of our stay we had excellent service ... at the both the pool downstairs and on the rooftop. Prices for drinks and food were very moderate considering this is the best hotel in Tequila.

The rooms are gorgeous and spacious .. the air conditioning works perfect ... the days were there the temps were 95 degrees and within minutes of coming back to the room the room were nice and cold. The beds and pillows are excellent ... the bathrooms huge !!! I loved the open hallways were you can feel the breeze coming thru. we had a room that faced the pool and it was lovely.

Location can not be beat .. literally on the town square. We parked our cars on arrival of Friday and didn't use it til late Monday afternoon when we left. Parking is free. Valet only.

Price ... we paid approximately $300 USD a night .. but beware taxes are close to 20% a night .. but honestly it was worth it.

We tried the La Antigua Casona restaurant and it was great .. the service was perfect and the food yummy ... the best churros with carmel and hot chocolate ... loved it ...

Overall we had a great stay and would not hesitate to stay again ...

But hotel management needs to address how security greets guest !!!!

So 9 out 10 for everything !!!!!

This is an incredible place to stay. Rooms are great! Say hi to Dominique and Francisco at the roof top bar!

Beautiful property right off the square . Elegant furniture and lighting. Staff were very well trained and helpful

The location is amazing. Close to all the restaurants and close to our favorite tequila distilleries (Los Abuelos and Arette). This is the second time we stayed in this hotel, the restaurant for breakfast was so good and all staff are very helpful.

Right in town with lovely staff and huge rooms.

Location was good, we could walk every where.

A beautiful hotel, staff very attentive, room was large and comfortable. Great location in the heart of Tequila . The restaurant Antigua Casona is excellent. I would certainly return.

My husband and I have always wanted to visit Tequila. This hotel is on the plaza making it walkable to the larger distilleries. The hotel is beautiful, well appointed, has a great restaurant, and attentive staff. There is a separate adult pool area on the roof with a bar. When in Tequila, choose this hotel, you won’t be disappointed. Tip: visit mid week, the town gets crowded and rowdy on the weekends.

After a gold ring went missing and a terrible meal in the hotel, I checked out with the rest of my party and was promised by the Manager that the balance would be returned. They have not returned my 5000 pesos, and now they do not reply to me after 4 different attempts. I now have to take them to Profeco for this fraud....

Very spacious rooms with nice rooftop pool and views of the town. Good location close to everything.
