Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for one night while on our way to Idaho. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Upon check-in, we were assisted by a very polite young man at the front desk who demonstrated a knowledge of the history of my home country—it was quite impressive and a very nice touch!

Cons:

We arrived very late, having driven all the way from Mammoth Lakes via Lake Tahoe. On top of that, I had caught a cold and was feeling absolutely terrible. Around 8:00 a.m., we were startled by a woman banging on our door and demanding that we check out. Although we were already packed and ready to leave, this was the first time I had ever encountered such behavior at a hotel in the USA. Lovelock is not a tourist destination; most of the hotel guests were contractors or manual laborers. We had a long journey ahead of us—many hours of driving to Twin Falls, Idaho. We will not be staying here again.

Excellent location for overnight stop
Pros:

Easy access to hotel from highway. Plenty of parking for large vehicles and trailers. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was large with king bed, high quality TV and large bathroom with tub and shower. Extra sink outside bathroom was a nice addition. Very quiet during the night. The train did go by once during the night, but it does not use horn so was barely noticeable. Nice area to walk dog.

Cons:

$30 per night for a small dog seems like a steep price.

Man, this is a downtrodden old, worn out facility. A very sad and pretty empty casino off the lobby. Ice machine was broken.
