Will be there again! Loved it
Pros:

Honestly the outside side by the freeway I was a bit iffy and nervous being this was my first stay here and it being in Oakland. But once entered I was WOWED. Was so beautiful and the exit from my room was so beautiful to go straight to the outdoors for the water. I loved it. Made me forget about the freeway side the whole time

Cons:

Nothing much to not like if I’m being honest. I think one thing I felt ehh about is I know front desk always aren’t so friendly. I think that’s one thing I didn’t like.. why are they so serious it’s rare to come across friendly receptionists..

It was pleasant.
Pros:

The mattress and pillows. The view. The friendly helpful front desk clerk. Upon arrival seeing an African American front desk clerk. The modern hotel and clean in the lobby, elevators and hallways.

Cons:

The breakfast and the customers came in their pjs. The cus didn't appear clean and I didn't want to eat after them.

Pros:

Room was huge, extremely clean, great facilities and very comfortable. Views to San Fransisco from the balcony were great. Brilliant shower and bathroom facilities. Very comfortable beds.
Fabulous Mexican restaurant nearby, Nido's backyard.

Cons:

The location is not particularly pleasant, adjacent to a very busy road, and with a lot of litter and drug paraphernalia on the sidewalk nearby. The walk to the ferry/train station at Jack London can feel a little unsafe, but if you are travelling by car, then you would probably miss this.
Breakfast was passable, though rats outside the window were a little off putting. Not great for food allergies, as no labelling of foods.
Pool needs updating, it's a disappointing area, accessed through neighbouring hotel. Some staff were very helpful, though one lady in particular didn't seem to want to be there at all.

This hotel is lovely and surprisingly luxurious for the price.
Pros:

Our room and bath were huge, and the balcony had a great view of the bay. The breakfast was fine, plenty of options. I appreciated the way Enrique checked us in, very professional and he gave us free waters and free parking because we had to wait a few minutes for maintenance to finish a task in the room.

Comfortable. Grateful we got upgraded from city view to partial. Water view helped offset noise.
