Room was very small, but not an issue for us, as we only used it to sleep and shower. Jim Thorpe is only a 20 minute drive away. The check in/out was convenient and the staff helpful
I have stayed at most all places in east stroudsburg area but i have to say this was my favorite over them all
Was wandering why 25 bucks extra to clean room
Unmanned motel. Uncomfortable bed. Lousy shower.
We will definitely be back! Staff and guests all so nice. The property is beautiful and dining options are all walkable.
I was really a great place to stay. The only problem was the air conditioner in the room. Could not change it to a quiet sleep mode so when it came on at night, it was on full force which was noisy.

The room was absolutely cozy, and clean, any time we needed anything it was just a matter of calling for service. I will definitely be back!
We loved the peacefulness of the lake right outside our door, the room was clean, the staff was very nice, and there were places to eat (bar, breakfast, ice cream) right across the street! I would recommend!

Lovely location with very attentive service. Peaceful setting where you only pay for what you need. Check-in and Remote Desk via phone instead of fancy Front Desk is a little confusing for first time users, but the service is still top notch. They do a nice job of decorating. Lovely hanging flower pots, but caution for head bump if your taller than 5'. Grounds are well lit. Small rooms are simple but very clean and fresh. Light watercraft is available for a per-person fee for the day. Again, just call or text their number for the dock attendant to set you up. Gameroom, and yard games available for rain or shine fun. There are several grills and gazebos available for the do-it-yourself chefs. The 2 legendary Breakfast/Lunch places, and 2 Dinner restaurants are a 1-minute walk for medium or upper budgets. Parking is ample for those that need to drive. We found out that the peaceful time for us retirees was after Memorial Day and before school closes. The kid fun time is outside of that, as there's a lot of fun stuff for them to do. They have housing for every side need, from couple to multi-family big house. Just reserve early.
We have decided to make this an annual thing, now that we are used to it.
