Super für einen Kurztrip
Pros:

Schönes modernes Hotel mit super Lage wenn man gerne feiern geht und ist nicht weit ins Zentrum zu Fuß .

Cons:

Die duschen sind nicht dicht es läuft Wasser ins Bad und daher sind auch die Türrahmen schon weg gegammelt .

The Worst Customer Service We Have Ever Experienced
Do not stay here. Our stay at the Catalina Berlin Hotel from June 27th to July 3rd was an absolute disaster, defined by jaw-dropping incompetence and the worst customer service we have ever encountered at any hotel.
We booked two rooms and both experiences were utterly infuriating:
Room 1: A Sauna, Not a Hotel Room
During the hottest days in Berlin, the air conditioning in our first room didn’t work. Upon calling the reception, we were informed that they will send someone to fix( took them almost an hour to come by, but instead of fixing they brought a fan that again barely helped with the situation), next they offered to change rooms two separate times just to get basic, functioning A/C.
Room 2: Giving Our Room Away & Pure Incompetence
This part is genuinely unbelievable. We checked into our second room early, used the room and bathroom, and went out for the day. When we returned late at night, our keys didn't work. Which we thought, okay happens, went to reactive the key. To which, the front desk casually informed us that they had given our room to someone else. The receptionist who checked us in was nowhere to be found. Thank God we hadn't left our valuables inside, because they essentially handed a stranger access to our space. When we were asking them, how this situation take place, the receptionist just ignoring us, continued “giving us another room”, like it will fix everything and it is a usual situation in this hotel.
At midnight, they reassigned us to a room on the 4th floor. Guess what? The air conditioning didn't work there either. When we demanded another room, the staff admitted, "Yes, we are experiencing problems with the A/C on the 4th floor."
If you knew the A/C was broken, why did you put us there? They finally moved us back to the 2nd floor, to a room right next to the one we originally had.

Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, 10 Minuten Gehweg von der S-Bahn Station entfernt, zum Alexanderplatz 15 Minuten. Tolle Bar, toller Innenhof. Alle sehr freundlich. Jederzeit gerne wieder!
