1 Hotel Central Park

I had a wonderful stay at 1 Hotel. I had been put up in another hotel for my first night by work which was awful and i had to ask them to move me. From the minute i walked into the lobby I knew it would be a better experience. The staff were super attentive. The hotel is in a great location beside central park and the decor is modern and relaxing. I was on a business trip and i sat in the lobby for a couple of hours to clear emails which i could not have done in the other hotel. My room was comfortable and had a lovely window seat with views over town. I will definitely book this hotel for future trips.

I love everything about the 1 Central Park. The food at Jams is healthy and wonderful - the rooms are lovely and comfortable. I have been traveling to NYC for years and seeing the familiar faces at the 1 is always comforting. I honestly can't say enough things about it.

Comfortable and quiet

We had an amazing and unforgettable stay at the 1 Hotel Central Park. Great location, wonderful breakfast, clean rooms, and memorable. My daughter was hungry and sitting in the lobby and asked Miya if she had any snacks. Miya went to the kitchen and brought out a fresh croissant for my daughter to eat while we were in between activities. It was so sweet of Miya to go above and beyond. Completely unexpected. I love that my daughter felt comfortable going to Miya because she was so warm and friendly. Wonderful service and experience! Keep up the great work! This is our 3rd year in a row visiting 1 Hotel Central Park for a girls mother daughter family getaway!

We just stayed there for 3 nights. We thought it was fabulous! Everything was extremely clean. The hotel is a great location to do lots of the touristy things. We stayed at a "fancier" hotel after we left for 2 nights and actually preferred the 1 hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! Definitely will stay here next time we come back!

Locatie !

The front desk staff, including Junior, demonstrated an incredible empathy and the ability to create magic during my stay. Because of some unanticipated events, I needed to leave a night early, and imagine my surprise and joy when I saw that they did not charge me for the second night. Of course, it's a slow time of year, and I would never expect such an action to happen all the time, but it simply backs up the fact that the staff at this hotel really do go the extra mile, whenever possible.

The room was beautifully styled, and the shower was so lovely that if I ever have one put in a future home, I would show the architect a picture of the bathroom. The bed was soooooo comfortable. I went out only very briefly this morning, and the housekeeping staff refreshed my room during my absence.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough for its staff, rooms, and location. So many boutique hotels in NYC under deliver, but 1 Hotel Central Park shows how to do the bespoke hotel right.

One last point: I'm a Midwesterner and very down to earth. I want to emphasize that everyone I encountered in this hotel was very relaxed, chill, and friendly -- that goes for the patrons, as well. So if you are looking for luxury minus the pretension, this is a great choice.

I like the whole vibe, which feels very personalized, and I love the hotel’s commitment to sustainability + the green plants everywhere. It’s very low key, chic. Delicious breakfasts at Jams, as well. It’s a cozy spot to land in the midst of a crazy blizzard/snowstorm, and just a block off the Park for a beautiful walk in the snow. Miya was super kind and amazingly helpful during my stay. At the hotel for 7 nights…will definitely return!

Staff is very attentive. The restaurant has a great breakfast. Surprisingly family/toddler friendly! The concierge immediately got us hot tea and a toy for our daughter after coming in from the rain. The shower has amazing water pressure. 10/10 would stay again.

Miya was awesome and so welcoming!!! Also all your servers were hella attractive just like some of the best looking humans out there. Is that a part of the hiring process?

Popped into Jams for lunch with our 1.5 year old and it was awesome. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and mocktails, and very kid friendly with crayons, etc. Miya at the front desk was so sweet to our kiddo, gave him an apple and a stuffed bee - above and beyond. Would love to stay here next time we’re in the city! Great location, beautiful lobby, and awesome restaurant in house.

Sometimes you need a staycation to experience the best of the city, and 1 Hotel Central Park was the perfect option for me! From the moment you enter through the doors, you can't help but to calm down because of how amazing it smells. The front desk team was warm, welcoming and great to talk to, even with the hotel being so full and crazy from Valentine's Day weekend.

I got to kill some time after a run in Central Park until my room was ready, and decided on brunch at Jams. Jackie was incredibly kind, and the team was attentive, food was delicious and the atmosphere was so nice! Once my room was ready, my bags were already there upon arrival - a nice little gesture that sometimes goes unnoticed and I really appreciated the bellman doing that.

The room was absolutely beautiful, clean and well-kept - I need the soap amenities in my house haha! I loved the birthday amenity from Danae in Events/F&B and appreciated her answering all my questions prior to my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and you couldn't hear any outside city noise - literally a sanctuary just steps from the hustle and bustle, and the winding paths of Central Park. I also appreciated all the sustainability efforts - a little hourglass in the shower to time yourself in conversing water, the notes on the hangers about how much water is used to wash clothes, and even the wellness angle with a yoga mat and roller in the closet!

While it was just a one night stay, it made for an amazing memory and I only wish I stayed longer. Thank you 1 Hotel Central Park team, can't wait for my next city staycation!

Amazing stay at 1 Hotel Central park! We went to celebrate my daughters 16th Birthday. It was 5 degrees, but we made the most of our 3 night stay. The hotel was warm and welcoming. They also left a few yummy sweet treats in our room and a sweet birthday note for my daughter upon arrival. That made are stay extra special. The hotel was beautiful and a safe location, 1 block from Central Park. The staff was helpful and always in a good mood. We walked to the MoMa and Times Square. Also, easy to take an Uber/ Lyft - less than 5 min wait for any car service. We ate breakfast at Jams. One time in the rest. then the other two for room service. The food was perfect to start our morning. We also loved the app. to check in on my phone (we did pick up a key a the front desK) and the personal touch with the survey. This is the first time staying at a 1 Hotel and we would love to stay again.

I had the best stay back in january, I came to celebrate my birthday and my daugthers birthday and Lei the manager made my stay memorable having bottle of wine upon my arrival and Junior at the front desk made my checkk in so smooth and G the bellman helped me with my luggage and was so nice, I would definately recommend this hotel and I would come back.
