Blossom Hotel & Suites Traverse City

The bed was terrible, we both were sore by morning. The rest of the room was nice but the bed ruined the stay.

Room looked larger in pictures but was very nice. Saturday morning the breakfast area needed to be replenished with items. Limited or none.

Room was not the cleanest, hot tub was not up to par and there was a roach in which we were told are just “indigenous” to the area.

Great staff. Very helpful in every area. Fresh coffee 24/7 in the Lobby was a nice touch. They had fresh cookies at the front dedk for anyone wishing to imbibe The breakfast options were limited to an array of carbohydrates that was a bit limiting so we had to choose other breakfast options. Pleasant stay but would have enjoyed a few more healthy items available for early risers not wanting g to get a breakfast out. Everyone working there was excitement helpful and kind.

We love the blossom hotel! The Suites are awesome and staff is always friendly. Nice pool and hot tub. This was our 2nd time staying here. Never had any complaints!

While this is an older facility, the rooms were clean and pleasant. It is in a convenient location to discover the Mission Peninsula (and its wineries), downtown Traverse City and the State Park Beach. The breakfasts were what you normally expect in hotels these days. Towels were above average, beds were comfortable. The only negative I have is the smell from the pool (chlorine) permeated all the hallways throughout the hotel. Otherwise I would stay again.

I have a bad back. When I travel, which is quite a bit, I bring an inflatable air mattress and sleep on that. It accommodates my back better than most hotel beds. I sent an email to Blossom and all I asked was, "is there room in my hotel room for an air mattress?" Some jerk replied with "you have TWO PEOPLE REGISTERED, a third person will not be allowed in our hotel. We have strict covid policies!" I thought, WHOA DUDE...hold on here a sec. First off, we aren't in any covid emergencies. Second, don't assume I'm bringing someone ILLEGAL into your apparently posh hotel. It states my two queen room SLEEPS FOUR. This idiot THEN CALLS ME TO SCOLD ME. It took about 4.5 seconds of his smugness and scolding about the rules and I WENT OFF. Called him every name in the book. At that point, I couldn't care less. I have never EVER encountered any hotel that gave me grief for not only wanting but needing to bring an air mattress. EVER. I told him what to politely do with himself and went off some more, replied to his email with more irate truck driver language and I hung up on him. He replied to my email that "he doesn't need to take that abuse" when I said yes you do and you will take it and proceeded to call him names that I made up. What an idiot. Never EVER encountered such rude customer service. He was arrogant, smug and i WOULD LOVE to punch him in the face!....he is in the wrong business and I'm not done with them yet! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

I arrived at the hotel at midnight, and the front desk girl was very mad I disdurbed her sleep, and she refused to let me check in, she found the excuse that the name in the system didn't match my ID. I said my friend helped me book the hotel, how about you refund me first and I book another one? She said no refundable, and I had to leave the hotel. I said YOU must refund me first, this is the credit card I paid with. She said you raised your voice and made me not comfortable, no refundable, and I was not allowed to come to this hotel again. She called police to kick me out and not refund me let me leave at midnight 1am without checking in. The police came, and checked my ID, and i told police she didnt let me check in also she didnt refund me the money.police let her refund me and i warned to sue her, she suddenly changed attitude and told the police everything was ok, and let us check in. She saw me as Asian face, she was racist, she even insulted me, have you have stayed in a hotel before? HORRIBLE experience. Racist hotel and staff. Foreigners don't go to this hotel. the front desk girl was so rude to a Asian customers.
