Location was perfect and room was spacious.
It was dusty throughout the apartment and appliances/furniture needed replacement. Some were very old, worn, and rusting.

We had no WiFi even though it stated there was WiFi. Had dead cockroaches in the bathroom

Beautiful place right next to beach and pools
The resort is so handy to beach, walking/cycling path, Surf club, however it’s an older building a bit tired and feel it’s time they change cleaners as our unit was very dusty and areas needed a good clean. Single rooms no aircon and extremely hot in peak summer. U7 Nth tower. Pools and outdoor areas are immaculate.
Unit not thoroughly clean lots of dust and sticky dinning table, smelly drains in bathrooms, one single room smelt of urine as though someone may have wet the bed!
Fabulous location near the beach and shops. Very helpful and friendly lady on reception when we arrived. We certainly needed air conditioning that worked well, as we had an east and west facing unit and we were there during some hot days.
We were in Unit North 17. The unit’s plumbing could do with an upgrade. The unit could benefit from some deeper cleaning in general, but in the kitchen particularly.
Conveniently located to sporting event my kids were participating in over 3 days.
Just a ahort walk to the beach was a bonus

Location was perfect to be close to the Stadium where we had our boys tag tournament and also close to the Kawana Mall which was super handy. The apartment was spacious and a short walk to the beach. The patio area on the rooftop was cool but too hot so we didn't really use it. The reception ladies were really friendly and super helpful also when messaging via email. Customer service was awesome.
Sorry, I really really wanted to love it but this review is ONLY for Room N15
1) When I booked the room I didn't know that our room was the one that didn't have elevator access. So if you have health issues (which I suffer from bad sciatica) then climbling 3 flights of stairs won't be for you. Lugging your luggage, groceries and doing general errands was a major inconvenience. I only knew our room didn't have elevator access when I called after I paid my deposit - so make sure to call and ask if your room is affected before booking.
2) The apartment only had 1 aircon in the dining/living room which was not disclosed specifically on the booking. So all the bedrooms were way too hot to sleep in, so every night for all 6 of us was in the living room with our mattresses and we also had to buy an additional fan to get more cold air circulating. Prob be better if we booked in Winter.
3) The apartment is a bit worse for wear so expect fly screens broken, blind curtain strings not working, the trays in the oven weren't even clean/washed, the tv in the main room turned on once and then after that we couldn't get it working again, even tried to reset it and change the batteries but still nothing. No manual, unfortunately. Overall wasn't very clean.
4) The swimming pool is HOT! For some they will say it was hot, like my husband but for me it was very warm. This is not ideal in 35-40 degree weather and in need of a cool down :( My family were so disappointed, so we could only really use it late at night when the weather wasn't as hot. We also tried to swim at the beach but we weren't able to because there were massive jellyfish and bluebottle jellyfish everywhere. The locals said it's been like that for a few weeks because of the warm weather. So yeah pretty bummed with this holiday and want to give an honest review. Again this only applied to room N15.
The only downfall was lack of parking, we own a large vehicle that wouldn’t fit in underground parking and there were no vacant parks on the property

Spacious
So dirty! We found someones bikini under the bed. Our pillow was mouldy! The oven was not cleaned! The place really stinks had to buy room spray! Glass door was jammed. And lots of other things was not impressed, couldn’t get a hold of reception either.
- we were not informed that the apartment had limited aircon. Loungeroom aircon and main bedroom aircons could not be used at the same time. Two of the three bedrooms do not have aircon, with 3 children this was a nightmare with the heat and humidity
- there were dead and live cockroaches, a cockroach egg sack in one of the single beds (photo proof)
- the tiled surfaced in the kitchen area was greasy and slippery
- dishes plates cups knives etc were not cleaned properly (we had to wash before use, some had excessive dust and hair on them, some were also wet)
- the ensuite toilet had faecal remains in it
- the floor in the toilet of main bathroom was sticky, so disgusting
- the main bathroom shower was not clean and has mould (photo proof)
- the fridge was not cold on arrival
- no blackout blinds in the living area to early reduce the morning light/heat
- surfaces were not cleaned properly or regularly. Food and water residue on dining table legs. Dust build up on bar chair legs, bedside tables and carpet
- carpets not vacuumed properly. Infant crawler found multiple items to put in his mouth
- fly screens doors are not secure. Unable to be locked and the screen itself was loose/holes etc. not safe for children
- Apartment 23 is NOT a 4 star apartment!
- the booking was made for 4 adults and 3 children; only the main bedroom had a double bed; the other bedrooms were made up as 4 singles. What 4 star rated resort would expect adults to sleep in single beds (unless requested)
