We booked 3 rooms, a total of 6 adults with 4 children . One of the adult in our group was not allowed entry to breakfast because her child went in before her and was counted as one person. When we booked , the site said kids stay for free and breakfast included. When we checked in and paid for the extra bed , we were told and confirmed with the reception that we had enough bedding and breakfasts. It was embarassing that one of my guest was denied entry because her 3 years old child stepped inside before her. I paid for an extra breakfast at the end of my breakfast. Unfortunately, before we left for the day , the receptionist told us that we have not paid for breakfast. He said the staff who i talked to and gave the money in the morning was his assistant and he needed to clarify first. I could not wait for her to come back to the reception and i left for the day. So it looks like, all of the staff want us to pay to them personally. At the entrance to the breakfast, morning reception staff and late morning reception staff. What a nightmare , one charge to be charged three times. Not looking forward to tomorrow breakfast, i am sure the 9yo will get asked money three times again. Need to take video when handing payment to the staff.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable - perfect for families with children. The hotel is easy to spot as it is located in front of Bulatan Meru Sultan Azlan Shah, making it very easy to find and conveniently close to Meru Raya attractions, shops and eateries. The environment is safe, with plenty of space for children to move around, the staff are friendly and helpful, all amenities worked perfectly. One of the highlights was the food - the meals were delicious, with a good variety and great taste.

I had a very pleasant stay in Studio Suite Room. Room is spacious with a nice view of Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah. Staff are friendly from the concierge to the front desk.

I throughly had a bad experience here. This hotel is not cheap though I stayed for 1 night. The location is completely dead city yet the price is not that cheap so I aspect if the amenities were good but what disappoints me is this hotel is kinda Air Asia like anything u asked they’ll charge you for a simple towel or even 1 extra pillow. I clearly understand if they gonna charge if the room is asking multiple times or atleast more than 1 but charging for basic things for that room charges is seriously not tolerable. The staffs are super not FRIENDLY at all or I should put it the way they were there to browse their phone. When I reached to check in they have quiet 5-6 male staffs on the lobby but none bothered to even open the lobby door all were busy with their hp and I got to struggle push it with my body with my luggage. They even charged rm15 for my 5yo kid for breakfast, idk he much a 5yo would eat and even if the breakfast tasted or even if they have good choices I will not complain but we can get better breakfast out of the hotel surely for what they charge and served.

I got really scammed with the good reviews but honestly speaking I dont know how does all those reviews coming from as I had such a bad experience from the beginning till check out. The bathroom has a foul urine smell (I believed due to poor sewage system). The corridors were so noisy even till 12am (which I assume their room doors are not having any noise cancellations built in). I had such a bad experience till I have a strong feel to check out at 11pm plus from that hotel and to check in elsewhere but only coz I travelled with my little one I doesn’t want to put them in hassles. Paid so much for not even an 1 rated star hotel for my opinion. The receptionist are good for nothing, not having any answers when I asked where can I get invoiced issued. I will never ever walk in to any of these branches (if any) or to the same hotel again even I dont have other rooms I will rather make my way to my hometown rather to stay here.

We stayed 1 nite instead of 2 nites as the bed was not comfortable. Very poor condition of toilet.

Choose to stay at Casuarina because I wanted to be in a quieter area.
Location is also convenient to my needs having to drive out to another town in a daily basis.
I have stayed here several times.
Room is a little worn out.
Bathroom floor needs a good scrub on the grouts.

This hotel is clearly a conference/business hotel. We only stayed there as it was handy for the bus station. That’s all I would recommend it for there was no swimming pool or facilities apart from a small gym and half the equipment did not work or was broken the breakfast had a decent selection, but for local people, very little for western tastes however, as I said, it’s handy for one night for the bus station

Room is spacious and clean. Everything works fine. Thanks to unbelievable staff especially Aqilah and Haziq. I had an emergency during my stay and they both had been very helpful. I don’t think other receptionist would do the same. Would totally recommend staying here !

Book the room for my event that happened in Casuarina last friday. We had an amazing stay with great city view especially in night and morning time. Special thanks to Ms Aqilah for setting up the surprise decoration. Definitely will come again once we back to Ipoh

Stayed for one night at Casuarina @ Meru Raya. This is a 4-star hotel located on the outskirts of Ipoh, close to Mydin Supermarket and the Casuarina Convention Centre. Muslim eatery is nearby this hotel. The hotel has large parking space. The lobby area is also spacious with settee for guests. I have to wait for almost one hour to get room key and check in process was quite slow even though it was 3pm. Maybe on that time. I guess. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. TV was outdated with limited channel available. The breakfast buffet offered variety of choices and was delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. If I ever visit Ipoh again, I will definitely stay here. Thank you for the great hospitality.

The location was so isolated, it was located close to the bus station and a local mall. There were food stalls, some closed and the opened ones were all local food. The check in was quick. The room was okay at first. The bed and the night stands were less than a foot from the floor (too low). The TV was small and all except one channel were in local language. The room was not fixed the next day when we came back at night. When I called down to the front desk, she was dare to ask me "did I request to have the room fixed". That was an insult to me, and it was unacceptable. The drain in the shower was partially clogged the first night, and almost fully clogged the second night.
