A Great Stay in Golden
Pros:

We just wanted to do a little family getaway at a hotel with a pool. This was a step up from the Travelodge in Golden, which is largely what we were looking for. Good value for a simple and fun time away. The breakfast at the restaurant on the property was great. Staff very friendly.

Cons:

It's nice to have jets in the hot tub, but not a big deal.

Easy choice when traveling in the area - everything I need, helpful staff and comfortable beds.
Pros:

This is my go to when I'm lucky enough to be visiting projects in the Golden area. The rooms are fairly appointed and quite functional. The Air/Heat is a little dated, but has a digital thermostat and works reasonably. The windows open which I love for moderating fresh air and temperature. The bathrooms are spacious enough (and they have a TV in them with a remote, so you can watch the tube from the tub!). Fitness room is tiny but the gear all works and its clean. If there are a couple people working out, you need to communicate and figure out how to share the 1 bench, dumbbell set (5-50lb) and the cable machine (low to high pulley positions, but only single handles - no other attachments). Bike, elliptical and treadmill all new and functioning well. Hot tub was HOT (104 on the nose) and the pool was just right. complementary Coffee in the lobby is fresh and tasty. Lots of folks working out of town stay here so expect lots of pickup trucks in the parking lot. There is also a liquor store at the hotel - maybe bad or good I guess, but no issue for me.

Cons:

My only gripe is that the attached restaurant doesn't open for Breakfast until 7:30. Last time I was there, a tour group was staying at the hotel and they didn't open for breakfast until 8am. Be warned! If you are planning your day around getting breaky in the hotel, check the times available. In general the restaurant is a 6 out of 10. Certainly nothing special. If you don't like new country music, look out - it's played loud and nonstop... Not sure who thought that's a good idea.

Om 10 uur s’avonds hadden we een powerouttage.. dus konden niets opladen , ook geen warm water. Het was donker overal , het leek wel een spookhotel, ze zijn hier totaal niet op voorbereid. Geen noodverlichting.. geen excuses de volgende dag bij uitchecken , geen compensatie .. niks .. 300 euro betaald voor 1 nacht … mag je wel iets verwachten toch aan hospitality ?
