Agua Hotels Sal Vila Verde Resort

Overall good place to stay with a free shuttle bus that took us to many places around the area. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

La vila verde est un petit village de vacances, tout est propre dans l’hébergement, ménage quotidien.
Trop loin du centre ville de Santa Maria (30 minutes à pied) et à part la piscine aucune activité.

Hotelli on siisti, mutta tarvitsisi remonttia. Vastaanoton henkilökunta ystävällistä. Meillä oli studio, joka on riittävän suuri kahdelle. Hyvä parveke ja näkymä uima-altaalle.
Erittäin rauhallinen alue.
Hotelli sijaitsee noin 2 km Santa Marian kaupungista. Hotellista on ilmainen kuljetus kaupunkiin, mutta vain muutaman kerran päivässä, joten käytimme taksia (5 euroa/suunta). Alueella on myös supermarket, josta saa ruokatarpeita.
Alue on erittäin suuri ja käyttöaste ehkä 20%, joten siellä on hieman outo tunnelma.
Minulle suurin ongelma oli, että suihkusta ei tule lämmintä vettä. Näin myös torakoita kylpyhuoneessa.

The pool bar staff were so unprofessional. Ignored people and laughed at me when I asked if they had the Cape Verdean Malta drink. They were so rude. I have never seen such bad costuner service in Sal before. The front desk staff we very nice and polite however. The place needs upgrades as the bathroom is old but was clean, the bed was unconfortble though and very loud at any movement. The place is generally is good. The bad part is that I booked this layover to work but was unable because they had no wifi for 24 hours and offered no solutions.

Hinta-laatusuhteen tosi hyvä hotelli. Hotellin oma aamupala ei ollut kovin hyvä, mutta se ei haitannut meitä, koska tehtiin itse aamupalat.

Taksi maksoi 5€ Santa Mariaan ja lentokentälle 20€.

Hotellilla oli uima-allas ja riittävästi aurinkotuoleja. Hotellialue oli vartioitu 24/7 ja muutenkin rauhallinen. Hotelli alueen kaupasta sai kaiken tarvitsevan. Plussaa oli myös ilmaiset hotellikuljetukset useaan eri paikkaan ja iha ok Wi-Fi yhteys (huoneessa oli oma Tp-link ja respassa oma Wi-Fi )

The room was spacious and clean.

Pool Area was calm and easy to get sunbeds.
Sunbeds at Ponta Preta Beach also included.

Quiet in the evenings, no entertaiment. We went to Santa Maria forcrestaurant every day.

If you dont want to be a part of a huge all-inclusive resortlife, this is your choice. Cozy, well-working apartment with nice pool area. Room was spacious, clean and functional. Perfect with kids. Quiet area and 20 minutes walk to Santa Maria or 5 euro taxi drive (5min)

Property needs to be updated and it was very filthy and customer service was horrible . I will never ever stay here or recommend anyone to.

Overall, this is actually a pretty decent option. However, there is also some false advertising.
The good: it is very close to Santa Maria and they have free shuttles to take you there. The property is huge with a beach close by and a grocery store on site. The apartment was huge with plenty of space, AC everywhere and very quiet. If you book a tour, they will not have an issue finding you for pick up. The food at the restaurant was really tasty. Once on site, the staff was very nice and helpful for the most part.
The bad: they advertise free shuttle for the airport but they did not answer the three emails I sent prior to my arrival so I had to pay for the Taxi to the resort and although I requested a shuttle for departure, I had to pay for that too. Wi-fi barely works in the rooms although they advertise Wi-fi everywhere. They do not respond to emails. At my arrival, I was struggling with my bags and the staff who was walking me to my room just watched me struggled. I will not stay there again. I do not recommend. The beds are rock hard as well and there is no comforters or blanket for the beds.

The resort have couple of restaurants, a supermarket and a beach. You can take a bus or rent a car, but this is a walking distance from downtown. Overall value is excellent.

The apartment is good just one thing is no wifi in the room you have the go around the reception

The apartment was huge and really well furnished and a full kitchen. Pool was lovely and easy. walk to the beach and Santa Maria. I wanted a really quiet holiday and that’s what I got :) The resort is lovely and it’s such a shame that there’s not more people there-but to my favour

Hotellilta lähtee säännöllisesti ilmainen edestakainen kuljetus Santa Marian keskustaa, jossa paljon ravintoloita ja pitkä uimaranta. Taksimatka maksaa viisi euroa.

Bikini-ranta viiden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä hotellilta. Hyvä ja monipuolinen ranta-alue.

Hinta-laatusuhde oli hyvä.

Lovely staff, hotel needs refurbishment, wifi only in reception & at pool. Breakfast really basic.
Very odd development/area - not sure if its because i came in the off season, but it feels a bit post-apocalyptic!

Hôtel très sympa, personnel souriant et avenant.

Chambre très grande, nickel. Ménage fait tous les jours.

Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. I was able to rent a scooter onsite. There are many pools to enjoy and the beach and downtown area are very close by
