The breakfast was a let down for me. Not a lot of choices and just not to the standard of what you would expect considering the price. Another thing that I didn't like was that they share the facilities with the hotel next door, which means that the gym and the pool get rammed during high season. This is not mentioned at the moment of booking. They also have this ridiculous policy where if you want to have a sun bed by the beach, you have to pay 10 euro per person for the privilege (even if you are a guest at the hotel). To me that's greedy and I don't think I want to go back somewhere where they won't extend this courtesy to their guests.

Dat aan het zwembad de ligstoelen gratis zijn en 50 meter verder op het strand per zetel 10 euro is voor een dag + 8 euro parasol. Wat niet weinig is .Maar dat was ook alles wat ik minder vond . De rest was echt super .

The general manager did not speak good English and appeared very rude talking to staff about us.

I asked for some milk for the room as the cleaner had not topped ours up. Iwas passed around from reception to the bar, and when he realised to bar were giving me fresh milk he started shouting at the bar staff, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

There was nothing I didn’t like however I hadn’t fully appreciated that the hotel is part of a much larger resort and they own all the restaurants in the immediate area. If you walk a bit further you can also find good independent restaurants.
Unless you get up really early, there’s little chance of finding a sun bed in the very crowded pool area at the next door hotel.
Many of the staff were friendly but some were not and it felt uncomfortable at times.

Eher einfaches Frühstück

The only reason I gave it a 9/10 was because the front desk staff was not particularly friendly. They weren't rude or anything like that, just not particularly warm with greetings or smiles.

Everything was excellent but if I'm being picky then bigger bathroom towels and better pastry options at breakfast would have made our stay even better.
That said, we had a lovely holiday and would return.

A la plage, les transats et parasols sont payants. Il faut compter 10 euros par transat et 8 euros pour un parasol. Il y a sans doute une bonne raison mais c'est dommage.

Juste un petit souci avec la climatisation que nous n'avons pas réussi à stopper pour la 3e et dernière nuit malgré tous les efforts du personnel adorable...

Concernant l'accès au centre historique de Dubrovnik, à savoir, il faut 20 minutes en voiture. Ce serait un détail si Uber était efficace. Ce qui n'a pas été le cas pendant notre séjour. Nos courses commandées étaient annulées jusqu'à 4 fois en totalisant 1h d'attente avant le seul qui soit arrivé jusqu'à nous... il faut compter environ 10 euros la course. Ou bien prendre des taxis qui sont disponibles mais il faut compter environ 40 euros. Autre possibilité, prendre le taxi bateau disponible toutes les demi heures environ pour 10 euros l'aller ou 15 euros l'aller/retour par personnes pour une traversée de 3/4 d'heure.
