Judita Palace Heritage Hotel

It was fabulous!!! Andy is hilarious and wonderful! Karla was magnificent , I can’t remember the darling lady that fixed our marvelous breakfast but each member of the team far exceeded our expectations!!!!!!

Anthony is amazing - just so funny and helpful. We also loved the bar at the bottom of the stairs - so charming and the staff was great.

Quality and Location

Superior location overlooking the People's Square in Split, ideal for exploring Diocletian's Palace and the medieval/Renaissance old town.

Our room was spacious with a terrific balcony overlooking the Square, ideal for people watching and enjoying the architecture from daylight through the evening.

Very comfortable bed, excellent service and an outstanding breakfast. From our arrival through departure, the front desk and breakfast staff distinguished themselves.

Great hotel with an even better staff. Hotel is in a perfect location close to restaurants and attractions and has a really nice gated courtyard bar.

We had a 6:30 am flight and the hotel was great in helping us. They helped us reserve an Uber, packed us a breakfast to go and even helped us get our bags to the uber stop. We appreciated this and thought they went well beyond our expectations!

If you are a runner this is a good spot. Only a few blocks from the waterfront where I was easily able to get in a nice run.

My husband and I stayed at the Judita for 3 nights in October 2026. This was part or a trip for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was wonderful and centrally located. The room and common spaces were nicely appointed and clean. For two people the room was a nice size. Our room faced the bell tower in the square so we were worried about the noise, but there was no reason to worry. With the windows closed we did not hear the bells.
The continental breakfast in the morning was a little smaller than some of the other places we stayed during our trip, but the food was very good. They also offered eggs for order.
The staff at both reception and breakfast were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, welcoming, and helpful.
I would highly recommend a stay here.

One small thing to note - The balcony in our room was very small. Barely big enough for one person to stand on. This did not detract from our stay in the least but others may find it helpful.

Excellent location, right in the center. Staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. Breakfast area is a little cramped but the staff and the food was amazing.
We were leaving at 5am and the staff packed us a very thoughtful and wonderful breakfast to go.

The staff was amazing. Andy really made the stay special. Great location in the heart of Old Town. Comfortable bed and a nice big bathtub.

Our stay was exceptional! Staff advised us on directions to the city gate where they met and accompanied us to the hotel. Andy, Maria, Chris and another lovely desk attendant assisted us with all activities, meals and helped thru more than one ferry complication. The service is exceptional and the location in the old town square is ideal. You would be mistaken to stay elsewhere in Split!

The location was outstanding- convenient to everything in the old town and to the Riva. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Loved the character and charm of the hotel as well as the staff especially Andi, Carla, and Kris. Maryann made the best omelettes. We enjoyed the bar and bartenders too.

The host and hostess were exceptional- Andrea is engaging, helpful and so accommodating. His sense of humor made the trip.

Location is awesome. Room was very nice. People were incredible. Service was great. Wi-fi was spotty and slow. Bath tub drain kept sticking shut. Showering in 4 inches of water not fun. With just a couple of improvements, this place would be perfect!

guy who gave us quite a greeting. Everything was wonderful. Our rooms, the breakfast, great location. Would definitely stay there again if back in Split.

We were very impressed with all aspects of our stay! the breakfast was amazing .The area is great right in the middle of everyting! I would go again for sure!
