Formosa Bay

Formosa bay was a great experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place in clean and have some great amenities for all ages.

Rooms were a good size and very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Lovely grounds and pool and play facilities for children. Located off main road, just outside main town, so would recommend a car to get to restaurants, shopping and beaches.

This is a fantastic resort. Massive grounds. Clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The resort offers a lot. Very safe and conveniently close to Plettenberg Bay. This was a business trip but will be back for a pleasure trip

A hotel very much aimed at families, however the walls are so thin you can hear those families, and tv’s and snoring coming from next door and across the hall. Luckily it quietened down before midnight.
For couples the B&B offer may not provide the quiet we were looking for depending on your neighbours.
Otherwise the twin room we had was huge with a similarly huge bathroom , with full bath and separate shower. Plenty of storage, a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Foreign plug sockets and modern decor. Two issues, bedside light to window side does not work, and standard lamp in seating area likewise doesn’t work.

We enjoyed it . It a pity one has to pay to play Fuzzball and the video games in the games room did not work.

Wir fanden unseren Aufenthalt schrecklich. Die Tür zum Apartment war absolut unsicher und hat bei jedem Windzug laut gewackelt, sodass unsere Kinder nachts schlecht schlafen konnten.
Des Weiteren ist die Unterkunft absolut heruntergekommen, Löcher in der Couch, kaputte Möbel, Schimmel und Flecken im Badezimmer.
Es fand keine tägliche Zimmerreinigung statt.
Die Fenster waren vergittert und mit Milchglas, weil sie zum Parkplatz, zur Straße oder zum Innenhof mit Grill und permanenter Geruchsbelästigung raus führten.
Leider garkeine Unterstützung seitens Expedia.

Really nice surroundings, spacious room, quiet pool. Friendly stuff

The sparkling pool is what attracted me to make the booking; it is extremely hot during this time of year and the pool had big chunks of green slime on the bottom of the pool sadly we were not able to use it; super dissappointing as the hotel is tip top as far a cleanliness goes in the rooms. Breakfast pork sausage was raw but as I had to rush off to work was not possible to have my breakfast redone. So not a good experience at all.

Really nice place to stay. Breakfast was great & restaurant was nice. We used the laundry facilities too. Convenient location to go to Birds of Eden / Jukani / Monkeyland. Would stay here again!

Very nice and clean place. Our room was very big! The views are really nice. Food was excellent and the staff…best we have found so far on our trip!

Breakfast start too late and only from 7:30?

Fantastic value for money. Room was huge and well furnished. TV channels excellent. Grounds lovely with rabbits roaming free. Gym with sauna. Good (but small) pool with water slide. Breakfast good.

lovely place with lots to keep you busy. Very good for families. We were lucky it was quiet when we went so great for a couple but definitely more of a family resort with free roaming bunnies all over the place and lots of activities to keep the kids busy.

Lovely place in a lovely town. A come back to it kind of stay.

Lovely property. Big spacious 2 bedroom cottage. Only negative was the noise heard from the neighboring houses.

Great stay overall and will return anyday again on my next business trip
