Can be a little noisy
Location is great, a couple minutes away from the waterfront. Great for a stroll or a run. And I love the combined hostel and cafe concept! It’s a very comfortable and welcoming space. I enjoyed sitting by the window, drinking Turkish coffee, reading my book or chatting with staff and fellow guests. Staff were really wonderful, always making sure I had enough coffee or water or a hot chocolate late at night. I had the opportunity to chat to one of the hostel managers Mustafa a lot during my stay who was very sweet and taught me a lot about Istanbul people and culture. Highly recommend Juliet Rooms&Kitchen if you’re wanting to stay in the beautiful Kadikoy/Moda area and meet new people.

Noisy air conditioning which doesn't even seem to work. Bathroom is hardly dry because of that.
You end sleeping with open windows directly connected to the terrace.
A while ago, I stayed at this hostel and honestly, it was a really great experience.
The staff were polite and friendly, the atmosphere was calm and cozy, and everything was clean and well-organized.
The food was also of good quality.
Overall, everything was just the way I liked, and I felt very comfortable during my stay.
If I ever come back to Turkey, I will definitely choose this place again.

Bad air conditioning, heavy air in the room
No safe place for luggage storage, if you request them to keep your luggages after check out, they show you a common place where any person passing thru the street can come in and steal your luggages.
Staff: Nice gentlemen in check in, rude woman in check out.
The location is amazing, the hostel is right by the Moda park which is gorgeous. Such a chill and relaxing area with bunch of little cafes and restaurants nearby, it's very beautiful! The hostel is also very clean.
The staff wasn't very welcoming, barely interacting with me as I checked in. When I checked out they also didn't seem to have luggage storage but they told me I could just leave my luggage in the entrance area, near the cafe counter which didn't seem like the safest thing to do but they were still there when I came back. There isn't really a common area where you can meet people so it's not the most social hostel and it's located downstairs from the cafe so the sounds from the cafe can be a bit disruptive.

The ac did not work in the hotel and the rooms were very stuffy and hot. There were cockroaches in the public restrooms and the hotel was not in a clean/taken care of condition. Food was good as well as service.
Overall, I had a comfortable stay and found it to be decent value for the price.
The location is great, the room was clean, and the housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating.
However, the rest of the staff didn’t come across as very welcoming, possibly due to a language barrier.
Although the bathroom was clean, it is in serious need of renovation.
The lockers were dusty and lacked locks, so I had to leave my belongings on the bed.
The staff was very nice and super friendly.
The hotel is located close to the park and it's relatively quiet. It is a small hotel and feels like a cosy place.
The room was not really worth the price.
The bed was hard and not comfortable, the bathroom is outdated and smells a bit and the breakfast was not fantastic. It was not bad but I slept in better hotels for similar price in the Moda area.

Very friendly snd helpful staff. Really nice location right by the water. Nice and quiet surrounding. Towels and slippers included which was a nice touch for a hostel.
Air conditioning didn't work and it was very warm the night I stayed.
