Beautiful hotel and great accommodations!
Pros:

I liked everything except I was not really impressed with the breakfast. The first day I ate the breakfast was not cooked properly. The English muffin was not toasted. The eggs were not free range. They were not flavorful and not very hot, the bacon was not warm. and then I had yogurt another day and it was that really sweet yogurt. The fruit was good, but the food was the only downside of my estimation. I did really appreciate the little snacks you had so I could go get a few little bites in between meals, that was a great little bonus. I wish I’d known about it. I just found it by accident.

Cons:

See above. Overall, though your location is fantastic your staff was very nice and friendly, and the room was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. I also appreciate it that when I booked, the person I spoke to didn’t overestimate any type of view based on where you are in the area so I appreciated a candid response .

Overpriced with the feel of motel 6
Pros:

Way overpriced and far from what I would consider 'luxury'. Hair found in bathroom towels, shower had very weak water pressure, refrigerator was broken and our view was a construction mess. For $2000 per night, this place is an utter ripoff.

Best staff
Pros:

A serene and beautiful convenient oasis in the middle of Downtown Jackson. A wonderful staff that is attentive and helpful. Some rooms are better than others, so make sure you double check the room descriptions before you go. Amex and the hotel were not in sync as far as that was concerned. Notwithstanding, the hotel more than made up for it and we were grateful and very happy. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing customer service!!!
Pros:

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, but what truly stood out was the incredible customer service. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to help. They went above and beyond to make sure our family had everything we needed, and it was clear they truly cared about making our stay special. It’s rare to find a hotel where the people make such a lasting impression. We left feeling well taken care of and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Business as usual? Alcohol business culture?
Pros:

We picked this hotel because of the spa and restaurant reviews.

It was the most expensive place for us to stay, but since we were returning from a week in the wilderness, the thought was that it'd be a great place to unwind for a few days before continuing our journeys.

It looks and (almost) feels like what they describe it to be...

So we bookended our hiking trip there... the first night we dropped into the restaurant but after being sprayed with cleaner as the hostess washed the table next to us, we wandered away... it was chlorine on my and my girls skin and clothes.

When we returned from the wilderness, all we wanted was a quiet evening. Now, Jackson is Disneyland for cowboy LARP participants so that's a tall order as we discovered, but it turns out that our suite was directly below the rooftop bar where that evening there was some sort of event.

It sounded like a wrestling match was happening upstairs, with a driving EDM soundtrack that kept getting louder as the evening went on. I went upstairs at 11 to find staff sitting at the bar drinking with the music so loud they had to turn it down to hear me tell them that we were trying to sleep downstairs... someone offered me a drink to compensate for the noise.

I went downstairs to find the manager, but was told by the front desk person that the owner herself was the one who had offered me a drink.

We have received no communication from the hotel after both of us repeated this chain of events to employees at the front desk. I expect that this is simply how they operate and view it as somehow acceptable.

Hopefully if you are looking for a quiet place to stay you'll steer clear.

I'm torn writing this since the Valet, Bell, Concierge, and Restaurant staff (barring the hostess) were all lovely and helpful and really deserve to be in a better situation.

Way over priced, not kid friendly, will never stay again
Pros:

NOT worth the money. $1,500 per night plus over $300 in fees. Two rooms for 4 nights cost us $15,000.
Rooms not connected like we asked, air did not work on night one so they ghetto rigged something, and people complained about noise every day
Floors are thin, not kid friendly, never ate the food as not kid friendly, only 1 ice machine so we had to call the front desk every day

Simply not worth the price tag
Pros:

The location was perfect - literally the centre of town. The decor was very nice, well executed and the hotel did have a premium feel to it. Nice artworks on the walls and a quality feel.
We also liked having a fire in our room, albeit gas, but still a nice touch. Bed was comfy and the staff were all lovely. We thought the gym, library and spa spaces were all of a high quality and really nicely done.
Shout out to the valet parking boys - top job all of them, especially the night guy who got our car and sorted coffee for us on a 0400 start one morning - appreciated very much!!

Cons:

We have to mention the price. Jackson is tricky -small town, highly desirable location, very limited development space because of the govt land ownership and the proximity to the Tetons and Yellowstone beyond it. I guess Jackson is a sellers market, whether its Real Estate or Hotel Rooms. But, $3500 for a 2 night stay (and that was in a pretty standard room, not one of the premium rooms) is just insane. The hotel was lovely but its a $500-$600 a night facility - no more. I guess we were paying for "location". Its possibly the most expensive hotel room I have stayed in (in any city in the world) and it is simply not worth it).
Stupid little touches like a Dove soap bar in our bathroom (premium??) and one of the staff forgetting to get housekeeping to turn down our room on the second evening when we went out for dinner - small things, but the elite hotels get that stuff right without blinking. They were no big deal and not worth raising with a staff member, but you file those little things away and those impressions contribute to your opinion when reviewing a very expensive hotel stay.
Also, some well paid thinktank decided that the in-house restaurant should be Lebanese - its all very well putting a marker down and being different in town, but i suspect a fundamentally different cuisine bias might drive more clients to use the hotel food offerings more (we didn't spend a penny in the hotel restaurant for any meals)

Hotel Jackson is our home-away-from-home
Pros:

If you want to know just how incredible Hotel Jackson is, let’s put it this way: my wife has become quite the novice hotel aficionado, and she now flat-out refuses to stay anywhere else when we visit Jackson Hole. After our recent stay, it is incredibly easy to see why. From the second you walk through the doors, you are wrapped in an atmosphere that is both luxury-tier and genuinely welcoming.

The service here is world-class. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, intuitive, and genuinely eager to make our stay flawless. They don't just provide service; they anticipate your needs with a level of hospitality that feels incredibly personal.

As someone who pays close attention to hotel standards, my wife was also blown away by the cleanliness. Every corner of the property, from the stunning lobby to our beautifully appointed room, was absolutely pristine.

However, it is the unmatched attention to detail that truly elevates Hotel Jackson and solidifies it as our permanent home-away-from-home. It’s the thoughtful design touches, the perfect lighting, the flawless turn-down service, and those small, unexpected gestures that show management deeply cares about the guest experience. Hotel Jackson doesn’t just offer a place to sleep—they have mastered the art of boutique luxury. If you appreciate great design, flawless execution, and top-tier service, do yourself a favor and book a stay here. We will certainly be back!
