Location and welcome were excellent. Bed was comfy too
Bath water was brown and it was quite noisy on the street at night but to be expected from the location.
Location was fantastic.A short walk to the beach. Food was nice & not too pricey. Staff were lovely & service was great.
Key card for the bedroom door was temperamental. More lighting in the room with maybe a lamp near the dressing table.
Location suited us perfectly for beach & town parking onsite or in the street no problem

The room we had, has sloping ceiling, so bending down especially in the bathroom.

Shower didn’t work and was very hot was placed at the top and was too hot being pregnant with not much air would like a refund if can please I left in tears

We absolutely loved staying at the Spyglass & Kettle! It was incredibly dog friendly, both in the pub area and in the room we stayed in, which made such a difference for us. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was really good, and we even got to enjoy live music on Friday night, which was lovely. The location is excellent, with the beach right across the road, you really couldn’t ask for more. We’d definitely stay again!

lack of staff. long wait to check in and order food or drinks. quiz night totally took over whole venue incredibly loud with no excluded areas at all. had to eat dinner in my room so we could have a conversation. totally thoughtless and inconsiderate, not advertised like this. could still hear noise in bedroom.
bedroom stuffy, windows barely opening, bed hard and lumpy with no headboard for support or cushions. hospitality tray very sad. didn't bother with shower, was like a coffin.

Well located on top of a pub on the coast line. Friendly staff, clean and dog friendly.
