Pros:

excellent location in a green, quiet part of Bristol

Cons:

it’s more of a pub with a few rooms attached than a hotel. There was no AC and the window couldn’t be opened due to security reasons so I had to move to another hotel with some ventilation. They offered a refund which they then didn’t pay.

Pros:

Zentrum in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Familienzimmer war wunderbar.
Der Pub mit Biergarten sehr praktisch.

Cons:

Es gab keine Klobürste, das geht gar nicht.
Zumindest mein Essen im Pub war ausbaufähig.
Die Dame an der Rezeption sollte die örtlichen Gegebenheiten besser wissen, was zB die Parkplatz Situation, wenn es schon keine an der Unterkunft gibt.

Breakfast substandard products and poor choice offered. And having a lady aching up the slot machine while having breakfast is not acceptable . One of the party cut her hand on the door in to room 32 little help

Pros:

Destacaría sobre todo lo amable que ha sido todo el personal del hotel. El edificio es precioso y la habitación muy cómoda. El hotel tiene pub con comida riquísima y a pesar de que estábamos en la primera planta, no notábamos ningún ruido. Hay autobús al centro muy cerca del hotel, pero en 15 minutos se llega andando también.

Cons:

El desayuno está muy bien, pero es desayuno continental, tostadas, croissants... le falta un poco de variedad.

Outdated and overpriced, but lovely location and pub garden

It was extremely hot in our room. We were given a very dodgy fan which just blew dust around the room. We were disappointed that we weren’t even offered complimentary water bottles or anything to help with the heat.
Room was also very small and very outdated. Extremely overpriced for what we got.

Cons:

Hello. I am very sorry to say this, but you really need to keep a closer eye on the hotel. My husband, our 5-year-old daughter, and I checked in during a very hot week—on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

When we went up to the first floor, there was a terrible stench—it smelled exactly like a place where drunks were living. Inside the room, the windows wouldn't open properly; given the heat, there was only one small fan, and only two windows could be opened just a crack. I was so horrified that I burst into tears, and within about 30 minutes to an hour, we booked and immediately moved to a different hotel.
I absolutely do not recommend this hotel; at the very least, you should lower your prices so that guests understand the true standard of the establishment.

Good value, great location!
Pros:

The hotel is friendly, bustling, and brilliantly located for exploring Clifton and the old city. It's very good value for money, and the staff are lovely.

Unusually for a budget hotel, the bath towels were large and fluffy!

Fans were provided, and were quiet and efficient during a few very hot nights.

Cons:

The rooms are tired and basic, although clean and fairly comfortable. There was an offputting odour in our en-suite, the stairs are quite steep, and doors ill-fitting (loud to close).

Emplacement idéal et rapport qualité prix excellent
