Não é bem não ter gostado, porque sabia para onde ia porque alias foi o que me fez escolher o Channings precisamente pelas suas instalações e ambiente de traça original britanica. Contudo obviamente as instalações são antigas nas perfeitamente habitáveis

Für Wochenendtrip ideal gelegenes Hotel
Pros:

ganz tolle Lage, um Bristol zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das entzückende Hotel hat ein ganz nettes Restaurant dabei, wo man auch sehr gut Abendessen kann. Großer Gastgarten und Bar im Untergeschoß. Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Wer kein deftiges englisches Frühstück mag, und so wie wir lieber Continental Frühstück wählt, hat nur eine kleine Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. Man hört jedes Wort aus den Nachbarzimmern. Im Sommer, wenn der Gastgarten voll ist, könnte es vermutlich laut werden.

Good place to stay not too far from the city centre.
Pros:

Beautiful building in a nice area not too far to walk to the city centre or Clifton Village and the suspension bridge.
Free on street parking available over the weekend a few streets away.
It was nice to have the bar downstairs.
The staff were friendly.
Plenty of hot water.
The sound from the bar didn’t disturb us on the second floor.

Cons:

Room was small with an air freshener smell but window could be opened.
It could do with being updated.

Convenient for one night stop-over
Pros:

30 mins free parking on road outside, pleasant check-in. Comfortable bed, bedside tables, large open wardrobe, opening window, bathtub and ample hot water. Convenient location for Clifton area.

Cons:

Not a very spacious room, just a small table and one chair. No shelf space in bathroom. Poor lighting in room and strip light in bathroom. Noise from bar below until closing time. Difficult to find parking and expensive (a Bristol problem).

Pros:

la ubicación es buena,un barrio muy tranquilo y bonito,el pub tanto para los desayunos como para cenar o beber una pinta antes de ir a descasar esta muy bien.

Cons:

la unica pega la televisión es muy antigua y todos los canales eran en inglés hoy dia casi todos los hoteles tienen Smart TV

Overpriced shabby room
Pros:

Staff were lovely - attentive and warm. Room was clean.

Cons:

The room was tiny, very tatty, dingy and dated - to be fair, this was clear from the booking.com photo, and I knew it was going to be bad, but it was a last-minute booking and Channings was the only option available. The shabbiness wouldn't matter if it was a bargain - but for a dingy single room at Channings I paid MORE than I did at two other much nicer Bristol hotels that same week. Would not repeat.
