Keine Empfehlung für den Sommer. Ein sehr lautes Hideaway.
Pros:

Sieht schön aus. Liegt zentral.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat keine Klimaanlage. Es war eine sehr warme Woche. Dadurch, dass alle Türen tagsüber geöffnet waren, waren auch die alten Mauern aufgewärmt. Unser Fenster öffnete zum Platz vor dem Hotel: direkt vor dem Fenster ein Restaurant mit Aussengastronomie. Bis die Tische abends zusammengeräumt waren, war es nach Mitternacht. Die Anlieferung kam früh morgens über das Kopfsteinpflaster gerollt. Die Beleuchtung des Platzes zwang dazu die Vorhänge zuzuziehen. Dann kam noch weniger Luft ins Zimmer… Es war immer stickig und heiß.

Die Lage war top

Cons:

Das gebuchte Zimmer sah bei weitem nicht so aus wie die meisten Zimmer, die einem in dieser Kategorie angezeigt werden! Bei 36 Grad Aussentemperatur war es in dem Zimmer direkt unter dem Dach ohne Klimaanlage und mit nur einem kleinen Fenster alles andere als angenehm, da ändert auch der Ventilator nichts! Bei diesen Temperaturen kein Wasser aufs Zimmer zu stellen ist auch ein No Go. Davon abgesehen hat der Kühlschrank nicht funktioniert, egal auf welcher Stufe er stand. Das Frühstück war für den Preis ok, mehr aber auch nicht.

Onze kamer (417) had maar één klein raampje voor zo een grote kamer. Jammer dat er geen airco was tijdens ons verblijf met hittegolf.

Great, clean place to stay that is a small walk from the centre. A great base with really friendly staff!

Eher ein Museum mit Jugengherbergszimmern. Nicht zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, alles zu Fuß machbar.(Dom ca.15. Minuten, reichlich gute Gastronomie um die Ecke), schöne Lounge

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind schlecht eingerichtet. Keine Ablagen, keine Schränke, keine Haken im Zimmer oder im Bad. Das Frühstück ist zu teuer.

Sehr aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal, ein wunderschönes Haus mit besonderem Charme und eine hervorragende Lage.

Alles ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht und mit viel Liebe gestaltet.

Für uns war der Aufenthalt etwas ganz Besonderes.

Eine Klasse für sich – wir kommen gerne wieder.

Stylisches Hotel mitten in Köln
Pros:

Schickes Hotel - sehr stylisch und mit tollem Design ausgestattet. Freundliches Personal. Super zentrale Lage und definitiv eine kleine ruhige Oase mittendrin. Fußläufig zum Dom und in die Altstadt.

Cons:

Die stylische hoteleigene Bar könnte gerne auch am Abend offen haben. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es lediglich als Frühstücksraum genutzt.
