Pros:

It was cheaper than other places I guess. But I’m sure I could’ve gotten a cheaper guest house. Just didn’t have the time so went for something familiar and close to the city center

Cons:

Worn out facilities. Shower tap was almost falling off , same with power sockets

The real Gaborone
Pros:

The Gaborone Hotel was fabulous. The staff were outstanding, in particular the person who helped me significantly with my early morning taxi pick up. I loved the character of the hotel and the location. My room was simple and clean. I feel like I got a real taste of Gaborone. Thank you to all the staff - restaurant, cleaning, security and reception.

Pros:

The room was extremely clean and the bedding was neat as well. The extra blanket during winter helped a lot.

Amo, the receptionist, a the restaurant staff helped to make enjoy my stay

Rooms are big

Cons:

Before Amo took care of me, the previous receptionist was very unpleasant. I had to stay in another room because the person occupying mine extended their stay. Showers need maintenance. Some mattresses are uncomfortable. Due to an unforeseen event, I checked out a day earlier with no reimbursement.

They told me check in is 1300hrs, I arrived at 1335 and I was told there is no room which Is ready, I had to ask for so many times what I should do and why they didn't not telll me in advance,
