Loved the location and the staff were wonderful, had a visit from Clive the cat, such a charmer.
Really enjoyed the apartment, so much more convenient than a hotel/motel room.
Very comfy bed, lots of space in the room, great outlook.
Struggled with the cook top in the kitchen, dim lighting made it difficult to the see the dial positions.
Shower curtain in the bathroom is a bit inefficient, left water in puddles outside the shower area.
Looking forward to seeing how the renovations improve the facilities.

Location was perfect for our latest stay in Dunedin. Although we have not stayed in St. Clair before we will again as we visit a few times each year
Bathroom shower was a bit challenging with circular curtain and water splashing. But we became used to this

Location, warm, quiet, character
The building is a gorgeous historical masterpiece, so it looks magnificent as you're driving up to it. Our apartment was well appointed, clean, comfortable, and with superb views of the city and the beach; it really felt like we were going back in time for a holiday to the seaside. The owner was so nice and accommodating - a real star.
The view
Able to warm the appartment to a very comfortable level and as it was the middle of winter much appreciated
The location is incredible, a short walk to the beach and restaurants, the view (sea view), the heritage features and size of bedroom and the apartment, the comfy bed, very clean, loved sitting in the enclosed verandah with sea view.
Most not a dislike just a please be aware there are lots of stairs to climb for the view (not a problem for everyone), sash windows can make a noise and difficult to open (part of heritage charm), the wet shower in the bathroom (pressure excellent but be prepared to mop the floor afterwards), TV is not a smart TV I don't think, sky channels have no movie options, no chrome castor so a bit frustrating - bring your own entertainment.
