Convenient to Putnam medical center. Convenient parking. Lovely gardens. Good lighting that could be flexible to one’s needs. Pleasant staff.
Nightstand drawers smelled musty. Didn’t seem to care about recycling as there were no recycling-designated wastebaskets. Mirror was dirty. TV channel selection limited.
comfortable, but basic accomodations. But we overall enjoyed our stay. It was really nice to stay in a friendly, very clean place that had character and was not just a sterile hotel chain room. Great location. Very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
the property is so well kept ,The staff were fantastic, You ever been to a place where the staff just is nice because they have too in there job discription, NOT HERE THEY WERE GENUINE ,The grounds are very nice , cant say enough , HIGHLY RECOMEND STAYING HERE ,
The property is beautiful. The room really was excellent. The Continental breakfast was fine. And the staff were delightful.

No power when we got back to room at 10:45….we were not even notified about anything we were told powers should be back up by 11-12 pm… after a rough night We checked out this morning at about 7:15 power was still out no water , no air … we would have left last night but we were at a party and didn’t want to drive back to Bronx after… no air no water … could not take showers after being at a pool wearing sunscreen and Florine all day or flush toilet…. I hope we will be compensated in some way we have friends that stayed there also and have stayed there before and told us how nice it was The rooms are very nice very clean. We were looking forward to the Heidi experience cause we’ve heard. It’s very nice and we’re very disappointed. How you guys don’t have generators for a business like that I don’t know.

Lovely homely feel. Bed was incredible and HUGE. Everything I needed was right there and it was such a quiet and serene area. Rly nice property.
There is nothing nearby. Went to Brewster to kill time in the morning and there is nothing to see. And it’s not connected well via public transport/walking, so bare in mind you will need to drive/uber/taxi everywhere which can get expensive.

The tv remote did not work. Quick service was provided. No bottled water in room as promised.
The gardens were lovely and the staff was very friendly.
I would have liked to know the fee for having a dog. It was $30 extra.
Even though the office and pool are on a main road, our room up on the back hill was quiet and peaceful
They had a nicely stocked dining area in the main house. So not only was there a decent breakfast included but we could use the fridge and microwave and cutlery at all times.
My only complaint is my preference for fresh air and there was no option to open the windows- only a rather inefficient and noisy air fan system .
